Why do the vast majority of people lack sexual morals?

Well, I get that morals differ per person and one person might think something is morally wrong whereas another person will think it's OK. I think we can all agree that cheating is wrong - yet many people cheat. Why?

And lets not even get into the hookup culture and all of that. People lose their virginity at like age 12 these days and literally just party and have sex with tons and tons of different people. No one values it at all... like pretty much if someone is attractive you should have sex. Most people have had casual sex and one night stands with people they just met. Do I even need to tell you about how many people "go home" with someone they just met from a nightclub? Or maybe how when girls go on vacation they literally look for sex with foreigners... that's what girls do on vacation, whereas guys just go to drink alcohol and have fun.

Most of you probably think all of this is good. Most of you probably think having sex with anyone and everyone is perfectly OK and everyone should just act like wild animals. Oh and not to mention group sex and guys letting other guys have sex with their wives and stuff. That's sick. Also girls who have let like four guys have sex with them at the same time. It's all gross behavior in my opinion.

Most humans are garbage and act like wild animals. I don't care what any of you say. I'm better than that and I know that I am a superior to most people because I have morals, values and that I don't act like a wild animals.

Oh that’s easy it’s because morality isn’t real. It’s not tangible and honestly it’s difficult to even describe it as an abstract construct because it’s difficult to ground in an objective reality. But we try because we want to live in peace with one another. Morality is an era specific growing concept that each generation twists and bends to reflect the modern day situation. It’s not some magic static clear cut list that’s projected into everyone’s mind. Morality around sex is so messy because even acting the most morally conservative around sex still results in a lot of pain for a lot of people. How can you define laws around managing and resisting social duress when something as easy as not speaking to a stranger can leave someone sobbing at home. Because that’s what happens when it pertains to love. You say cheating is 100% morally wrong but try giving The Scarlet Letter a read. The phrase all is fair in love and war exist for a reason. Everyone is going to hurt someone in love the question is how many and whether or not you’re aware of it. What kills me is how you think humans aren’t wild animals because no matter how you talk or how you dress or where you work your DNA says you’re a wild animal. Your amygdala says you’re a wild animal. You may practice some religion that has taught you otherwise but that doesn’t change the fact that your brain is far more animal than it is not. I’m not saying that to disrespect your religion but it’s like saying humans don’t have skin when it’s clearly all over your body. When it comes to emotions they’re ALL running through your amygdala and it’s one of the oldest most primitive parts of our brains that we have in common with a huge chunk of the animal kingdom. Liquors still liquor in a sippy cup my dude. I’m sorry that so much of human sexual relations causes you such discomfort but it’s not going to change anytime soon. And it’s definitely not going to change just because it makes YOU in particular uncomfortable. This is just one of those things you either accept or futilely fight forever against. However if you choose to fight just remember you’re only 18 are you 100% certain you have the clearest idea of what’s right and wrong when it comes to sexuality? I mean where are you getting your opinions from? Your mom, your religion, your school, the internet? Could they not be wrong as well. Maybe the world doesn’t have a problem and it’s you with the issue or maybe it does and you’re the only sane man alive.

If everyone was just fucking each other into oblivion with no regard for each other I'd probably be upset too. But, I can promise you that it's just not like that. The vast majority of people form normal-ish relationships and have sex with their partners. They may do some weird shit, but it's with their partners, and not with rando's they find on the street. Even at parties specifically for people who hook up, you can't just walk out the door with whoever for no reason. There are rules in 99% of sex sub-cultures, and the first two are essentially 'get clear consent' and 'make safe choices'. That means no pressured or drunk/drugged sex with people you don't know, and strict use of condoms and best safety practices. If you break the rules you don't get to play and you get ostracized from the community and possibly reported to the police if necessary.

That means either they change out every once in awhile, or, if married, they cheat because they can't stand to have sex with just one person in a committed relationship. . 1) Cheating is wrong. It's a violation of your partner's trust and nobody should do it. It happens way to often, and probably always has.
2) There's nothing wrong with casual sex between consenting adults. The science supports this; sex is a healthy activity, and as long as no one gets sick or hurt because of it, it's a good thing. Obviously this only applies to adults, not 12 year olds. A 12 year old isn't capable of consent.

I think the main problem is puritans assuming their values are universal. Humans by their nature have sex, generally we start wanting to right around puberty (though this varies per individual and I'm not saying its a good idea to have sex as soon as you hit puberty, just that its when you start craving it). Sex is natural, its observable in nature and is part of the universal drive for reproduction.
