Why is having a racial preference in dating considered so wrong and seen as a creepy fetish. Shouldn't we just let people be happy?
It really confuses me. Whats the big deal? Its like getting mad someone generally prefes to eat grilled cheese sandwiches. Instead of liking all sandwiches equally.

What Girls & Guys Said
1 24There's nothing wrong with that. It's not racist, it's not creepy. Do you girl ☺️
Except it isn't sandwiches. It's people. And people tend to be offended when they are excluded based solely on their ethnicity. I agree that we can't help what we're attracted to, but I also completely understand why things we're attracted to can upset people.
Yeah true, I guess some people can't respect other people's views... however I literally see people get mad even if its their race that is prefered. Mainly my fellow girls. Can you explain this?
i mean for me I like when someone prefers my race. Its like #Winning ya know?😁
I suppose simply because their race is the focus. It's something they're being boiled down to, when it ideally should be so insignificant a factor to as not even be acknowledged.
why shouldn't it be acknowledged? If you notice you're typically attracted to a given race why should you ignore that?
That's it, though. People think you shouldn't be attracted to a particular race. That race so should be so insignificant that you wouldn't even think about it. You wouldn't notice it, because it wouldn't enter your mind. It's an impossible goal, but that is what people want.
well its not really the whole race. That's just something wwe say because its easier to say then just we disproportionately find this race more attractive. The thing is we are not the same though. Races loom different and typically have different cultural behaviors. Nothing is absolute and you can always find a lot of exceptions but to acknowledge these truths shouldn't be seen as a bad thing Even if you dont think about something consciously you're thinking about it subconsciously. Your brain notices trends you dont realize all the time. Its what leads to biases we didn't even know we had
