Why is having sex called " fucking a girl"?

Having sexual intercourse is a pleasurable thing for both the persons involved in it , then why is it called " fucking her" / " i fucked her" or something like that which almost sounds as if the male " assaulted or used" the female...

Ot why isn't it called " she fucked him"?

It kind of sounds degrading to woman, No?

It isn't degrading to woman and doesn't sound as if male used female

  • Voted B. Yes that's the reason why. Also particularly that's also why I'm a dominant woman. Been tired of this shit since forever and always used to cringe at movie scenes where the girl is crying in the morning because the guy pump and dumped her. Like wtf. Thanks God for modern era and the exclusivity in movies and that people are finally waking the fuck up.

    • You are a sexually dominant female?

    • Yep.

    • Most men love sexually dominant female

  • Fuck is one of the most common words in English; it is also one of the most offensive words in general and social speaking. Its main meaning is "have sex," but it has hundreds of other uses. It is believed that it was being used to indicate sexual activity with prostitute in the past. In recent years, distinction between fucking and having sex has nothing to do with friends with benefits, in relation, marriage or prostitution.

The term “fucking” is simply experienced as more crude and concrete than “having sex”. So if you have a dim view of prostitution, or if you want to emphasize the primal nature of the urges involved, you may prefer “fucking” over “having sex”. Whereas if you have a loving, lofty superior view of sex in in relationship or marriage, and you want to suggest that the act is more than a somewhat messy exchange of bodily fluids, you will be tempted to use the word “having sex” or “making love” instead.

Different words / terms are used to indicate different ways / types of sex; I have compiled some of them to indicate when they are often used:

Term fornicate is used if the act is sinful – morally or by religious believes. Copulate is generally used for animals or animalistic sex. Fuck is crude, animalistic, and concrete. But the slang is used between husband and wife too to spice up their intimate moments freely. Have sex is used to avoid slang word; they get fucked, but do not use crude words. Similarly make love is used to indicate that the mess is an illusion, only love is real! Sleep together is used to indicate sex without much feeling or to pretend sex does not really exist.

This slang term – fucking - for sexual intercourse is not a word to be used lightly, it is an obscenity that, if used on some public speaking, radio or television networks, could cost the person who "dropped the f-bomb" thousands of dollars. Despite all the people who do not want to hear it, fuck is one of the most common obscenities, and can be used as a noun, verb, adjective, and adverb. It is often used as a modifier to add emphasis to another word, as in "that is so fucking stupid!"

Not all sex is the same, even if it is with the same person again and again. Sometimes, it is vanilla. Sometimes, it is kinky. Sometimes, it is quick. Sometimes, it is slow and prolonged. But, the most important distinction is between when it is having sex, let we call it what it really is, fucking, or making love or having sex. Those are not mere words, but different ways of connecting sexually. Fucking or having sex is about your pleasure, while making love is about pleasing your partner, it is about loving another’s body, inch by inch. You are focused outward, and on to the other body whereas when you are fucking, you are focused inwards, on your own body. Fucking, or having sex for sex's sake, is about reaching climax, whereas lovemaking is about enjoying every part of the process. From looking each other in the eye, to caressing the small of the back, to gentle thrusts; every touch, every look, and every little bit of contact matters when you make love. Whether or not you orgasm does not matter as long as you connect with each other’s bodies intimately, and appreciate and enjoy what you have. On the other hand, when you fuck, the focus is on having an orgasm. The only touch or contact that matters is when genitals are involved. You can fuck without foreplay or afterplay, as long as you can climax. You can fuck anyone, but you cannot make love to everybody. Obviously because when you make love, there is emotion involved. Making love is not about just the body. It is about all of you, and all of your partner, and to be able to do it, there has to be love and care. Fucking starts when you take your clothes off, but making love is about the sum of your interactions.

    • Great detailed

    • But, it's ONLY offensive if the person hearing it gives it the power to BE offensive to THEM!

  • I totally understand where you're coming from with your question. I think it's important to remember that language and the way we talk about things can definitely shape our perceptions and attitudes towards them. And yeah, using phrases like "fucking a girl" or "I fucked her" can definitely come off as disrespectful and degrading to women. It's important to remember that sex should be consensual and enjoyable for both parties involved, not just one person "using" the other. And as for why it's not called "she fucked him," I think it's just a matter of societal norms and the way we've traditionally talked about and viewed sexual encounters. But hey, let's change that narrative and start using language that empowers and respects everyone involved in sexual acts.

    • I agree 💯

    • You are overthinking it. In that context the reason it's "he fucked her" is because the penis moves to go in and out of a stationary vagina. If she is on top and doing all the work, then it's "she fucked him". In most cases, the guy is the one who's actually moving during sex, ie he is the one doing the task, so "he fucked her" is used more often as a result.

  • Welcome to the English language.

The difference between having sex and fucking is completely reliant on the person who’s speaking.

Like the difference between ain’t and isn’t.

    • But women don't really say she fucked a man... why,?

    • Because most women don’t use sex to impress their friends.

    • The word fuck predates English, and is present in other languages. Its a reflex noise, much like sneezing.

  • Girls always say fucking a guy too. I think it’s just a raunchy slang to say you had sex with someone

  • When women talk about having had sex with a guy, they usually say that they fucked him. Nothing demeaning in that. So what having sex is called depends on who is telling it.

    • Women do ise terms fucking a guy?

    • Of course!

  • German ficken ('to fuck')

Dutch fokken ('to breed', 'to beget')

    Afrikaans fok ('to fuck')

Icelandic fokka ('to mess around', 'to rush')

    Norwegian fukka ('to copulate')

Swedish focka ('to strike', 'to copulate') and fock ('penis')

Your fock stick is your dick... When you stick that in someone you fock them... Some nouns are used as verbs. For example if you bandage a wound, you place a bandage on the wound.

  • You are overthinking this

    • Maybe... but... isn't it wrong

    • You look like a cute Barbie doll 🪆

  • Well, usually the male is the more active partner in intercourse, hence he gets to be the subject of the verb and she gets to be the object. It's not degrading, just simple grammar.

  • It goes both ways.

  • I generally understand your thought process with this question. I think people say that because the man is generally the one putting in most of the work during sex.

  • Fuck is a slang term for the act of having sex, it doesn't really imply any sort of sex, just sex.

At some point, people started to say it nonsensically whenever something bad happens, which sounds odd, considering most people like sex.

I think it's because the word was born as a thing people say when in some sort of sensory overload shock, because whether you stub your toe, or have an orgasm, fuck just sort of slips out of your mouth as a reflex.

Not because of culture, but because of how the body seazing up effects the mouth. It often results in ffffffffffffff followed by the muscular tension release after making that sound, which is usually uck. It's why people with tourettes syndrome say the word so often, because their body had a sort of spasm that replicates that.

  • Personally I hate the f bomb. Wish it had never been invented.

  • I'll go along with the degrading part but the male dominated storyline is BS. I agree most of history has woman playing the role of subservient person there to keep house and satisfy men's passion. However, that finally changed in the 60'-70's and now women can steer their own course.
Each sex has different objectives. The male sex is to impregnate as many woman as possible for survival of the species and war determines the genetic make-up.
Woman are there to produce the progeny for nurturing until self reliant, (nesting)
This is a simplistic version of biology for the male/female order in other species but adequate proof found in our history to prove for homosapiens as well. (which are also part of nature)

  • I don't fuck, I make love.

  • because the male is active perhaps?

  • Sex is typically with the man in the dominant position. Rarely is the girl creating the movement for sex to happen.

  • Not degrading at all. When I've heard harder, harder.. HARDER! I didn't feel degraded. I felt pure pleasure! With that, in my now 44 years on this planet have ever heard I fucked her in a conversation.

  • Guys fuck
    Girls get fucked
    The giver and the receiver

    • 99% we're the ones doing all the work

  • Yes 😂

  • I cringe when someone says "making love"

    • Then what do you like?

    • You can love her, cherish her, take care of her, protect her, but when you''re both in the right mood, it's time to fuck.

    • I agree
