Sexual Health Guys, Why would he take the used condom home with him instead of just leaving it in my bin?

I put it in my bin then when he was on his way out he took it out of the bin, wrapped it in a tissue and put it in his pocket! He just said "I'll take this for u" I said it's ok leave it there but he insisted so I didn't ask again. Why on earth would he do that?

I don't blame him either. Plenty of examples out there of sperm stealing.
Some guys can be paranoid about a girl using the used condom to get herself pregnant with the dudes kid. It's ridiculous and a little silly, but some guys believe a woman would do that
