I've read that the banana is often a substitute for the penis when people are practicing or learning how to use a condom. Will it be a good dildo too, or does it have to be firmer? I wouldn't say it's a good idea if you haven't even used your own fingers before. You need to start out slow and work your way up. If you feel like you're ready id suggest going and buying a real dildo that way you won't risk damaging your insides. It's embarrassing but you can always get one online.

Your hymen can tear doing sports like gymnastics and horseback riding. The hymen does not show wether you've had sex or not. Lesbian sex is mainly foreplay, but yes technically if they have not had sexual penetration by a male they are in that sense a virgin. But hey it's whatever you make it. If you want to lose your virginity to a tampon go for it. But my belief is that you are no longer a virgin when you have sex for the first time.

@BlueEyedHipsta That's why I wrote "and" instead of "or" and "if you have a hymen". Lesbian sex also includes insertion of foreign objects such as dildos. Tampons don't go far enough to break the hymen. Not to mention there is no sexual pleasure from them. But yes apparently people define virginity differently.
