24 82Chivalry is not meant to be a way for a guy to get what he wants, but respecting women as equals. I never would have ever thought about needing to ask about that in the entire time I have been dating. But I do know that if you let them walk all over you, it will keep happening all the time.
Gentrification should never be used as a cause to add notches to one's bedpost. Polite society provides a code of conduct so as to behave civility towards one another. Not to screw one another. It is one of the few human characteristics which continues to separate is from the rest of the animal kingdom - well at least some of us.

First thing, I used the word, gentrification for a reason. Chivalry is a warrior's code of conduct on a battlefield and for when present at 'court'. Specifically rules of behavior towards his 'sovereign' and the 'ladies' present. Nothing to do with holding doors nor getting laid. Gentrification has everything to do with a code of conduct maintained within "polite society". Which is not remotely exclusive to men opening doors for women and whatnot, but how women are to behave towards men and other women, with the same going for men. It was never a tool to get your dick wet nor to make her panties wet. Further, if this is your chief cause for behaving in such a fashion then this speaks volumes towards your character and explains your cynicism. Which might I add, cynicism is an ugly trait which is only appreciated by other equally cynical individuals. Unless by force, a cynical persona never gets anyone 'laid'. Finally, you are part of society. If your assertion is true, then you and your cynicism are equally culpable for "giving women a pass". Do something about it.
I am that part of society that does not give women a pass just because they are women. I am that part of society that questions these misandric beliefs and addresses them.
Not sure where being gentrified gives women a pass on anything. Gentry is for both men and women alike. Not men towards women exclusively. Regardless, your cynicism is noted.

I think to some extent being a gentleman can help your chances of achieving sexual release, but that is a fine line that a lot of guys today are not aware of. I have always operated under the assumption that sex in not a requirement for me to live. Therefore I don't chase it, on the other hand that is when it seems to become more available. I don't think most women appreciate men that have no convictions. The same holds true for overly feminine males. They come off as trying to hard. Personally I have gotten interested and more involved with sexing, but only because I have never met a woman that has excited me enough to act further.
