A huge lie spread across society in the late 60's and early 70's. The birth control pill came out and the notion spread that sex isn't just between a man and his wife but rather, you can have a much sex as you want and as many partners as you want and there are no consequences. Your husband or wife can be the 30th person you've been that intimate with and when you are with them it could be the 1,500th time you've had sex and all is good.

When a woman requires a man to make X amount salary per year does that mean she has to make the same wage? When a woman wants a man that is 6 foot tall or more does that mean she has to be 6 foot tall herself? When a woman wants a man that is funny or confident or charming does that mean she has to be confident and funny and charming herself? When a woman wants a man with a nice house does that mean she has to already have a nice house herself? Either way, she is free to have her preference and if I don't match what she is wanting she'll move on. I know, all women's preferences are her holy right and to not be questioned but a man's preferences... they are misguided and foolish, right?
