I personally wouldn't. Practically all women's self defense classes teach you to, however. Aim for the balls, then run away.
Myself, I was taught goju ryu karate and judo by my father. also took shotokan, got a purple belt in that. I can handle myself in a fight against a male. Done it before.
Also, my Chinese grandfather taught me shaolin wushu stances. While I certainly don't know wushu, I can scare people into thinking I do. Who's gonna fuck with the little Asian bitch that just dropped into tiger stance?

If Im defending myself that's probably the first place I'll try to hit him hard. Because if he's an attacker I don't feel like I need to respect any body part of his more than another, and a good kick in the balls will paralyze him long enough for me to make a run for it.
In any other case like anger? I'm not a violent person so I wouldn't punch or hit anywhere, maybe a bitchslap on the face that's all

A kick is best and can be kicked from a safe distance while kneeing requires being close enough.

I would never aim for such a sensitive area unless I felt I was truly in danger. This has not yet occurred.

Yes, my father taught me how to defend myself, kicking and they expect that. They don't expect you to come at them with your hands. My Dad was a Navy SEAL his daughter will not go down without a fight!!!

If I am defending myself then yes any means is a good means. Usually a girl in this knees him to get him away from her but she may grab him and squeeze him hard enough to make him bawl.
