Would you complain if a nude couple walked into a bar?

In Somerset, England, a nude couple walked into a bar, sat down and ordered a meal. It wasn't the first time they had enjoyed lunch in the buff as they've visited at over 500 places completely naked. However this time there was a backlash from the usual Karens.

Now in the UK you have a LEGAL right to be naked but many argue a family pub where people are eating isn't an appropriate location.

So who do you back, the nudists exercising their legal rights or the people who complained?

  • of course I wouldn't

  • As long as they weren’t making a spectacle I don’t rightly care.

  • As a nudist I support them

  • It is up to that country, they allow or not?

  • “Now in the UK you have a LEGAL right to be naked…”
No, you don’t. It is a public order offence. A repeated violation will land you in jail.

    • To be fair, the way new laws are worded in the UK, pretty much everything can land you in jail.

    • If you look up actual nudity laws it's only illegal if the intention is to cause offence. It's how you act nude that's key.

    • In a lot of laws there seems to be an 'if it offends' caveat, which is pretty open to interpretation. I believe someone got done recently for an offensive t-shirt. www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/.../manchester-united-hillsborough-fan-shirt-27053101

  • Well here in the States we aren't savages. You have to wear clothes. Most require shirts and shoes as well. I mean it is an eating establishment after all. So naturally I back the sensible person that complained.
