Would you rather have one potato chip, or none?

This question isn't about potato chips. It's a philosophical metaphor about sex. Let's say you have this person that you're infatuated with. Hookups are a dime a dozen, but you're head over heels for this one.
But for whatever reason, it would just be a one-time thing. I was put in this position, and I declined the offer. It's not because I don't like to eat potato chips, I really love them. It's because I don't think I could only eat just one.
I think only having one potato chip, would be akin to Chinese water torture.

I had just one. And I liked it. But one it was gone I wanted another , when that one was gob I wanted another , and so on and so on. Not just one. One at a time. Sometime grabbing into the bag I got more then one but Romany at once isn’t as tasty as one at a time.

What makes you so tempted though? For me, my s. o is so busy with work (he's always away to another country) so this other person sort of fill the void, as a friend at first. But then he started to test his boundary...

Lordy. To say I hit the motherload, would be an understatement. More like the dump truck load. I asked my brother if he still had his ski boat and he said: "Yeah, you can have it if you want." I couldn't help but smile as I declined the free boat. lol
