part of exploring your sexuality is masturbating, its just better to let the kid find out. It seems in bad taste to do it yourself. Sex Education should teach the bells and whistles (assuming they have the right to). Although I think Monty Python: Meaning Of Life put it best.

Masturbation is normal, natural and should be encouraged. With explanation of what feelings you can expect, and that it is very healthy!

As for a age where i would tell my kid about it is kinda up to them.
there would be signs that would show that he's getting sexual interests i guess.

Kids figure things out on their own, just like we all did! (Especially nowadays kids have access to so many things electronically/through the internet!)

I'd rather not. But one of my children has special needs, and if he seems like he needs to and needs to be told what where and when (alone, in your room, etc) to do so, then we will deal with that when we get there.
Why would anyone teach their child how to masturbate? There are things you teach your children and then there are things you let them learn about on their own. Yes, you can inform them about the act itself, but not actually teach them. That's same next level shit right there.

@Cricket74 Nowadays probably younger due to the internet. I think it's better not to be taught because people may feel that they're doing it wrong or pressured to do it. Some people are late bloomers
