Sexual Health I'm talking about your hymen, not your virginity.
Hymen doesn't matter to me that much tbh, i couldn't care less. The only reason why i have never had sex with anyone is because i was waiting to have cervical cancer vaccine injection. The only reason that it is somehow important to me is because it protects your body from bacteria.
But my mom just freaked out and bans me to use tampon because she's afraid that it will break my hymen, and she cares about it not because of biological reasons, it's because of her belief. How can i talk her out of this? And girls, does hymen important to you? (hymen and virginity is 2 completely different things)

22 9So wear a tampon she doesn't have to know. Once I started using tampons periods feel like heaven lol. I per se don't care about my hymen but I do want to remain a virgin until marriage. i think I already tore mine so I hope my husband believes me when I tell him I'm a virgin when we got married :'(
Well, some girls are also born without a hymen, so don't worry about it that much

The hymen doesn't protect you from bacteria. And tampons have no effect on the hymen.
Hymens can break from exercise you know?
They break when we ride a bicycle, and tampons.
It's not that important for something that easily breaks.
Your hymen doesn't go away. For some people it stretches so after the hymen still looks the same and for other people, it tears but doesn't completely go away.
