If I am in relationship with her and both of have enjoyed sex together earlier, I will tell her to know her response - if it has happened really or not. It will be an indirect invitation for her. And if she agree - or give a signal positively it will be a sure fire. It will depend on how close we are and our mood at that time of moment.

I would have to know her quite well before I admit to something like that.
I doubt I would tell a woman I was intrested in having a relationship with anything but if I just wanted her as a sexual partner I might tell them in hopes she would be turned on or at lest intrested in what it would be like having sex with me.
