Why do humans want sex so much?

Other species in this world only have sex to reproduce, during mating season. But humans want sex ALL THE TIME, especially males. why are humans so different?

because we don't run on pure instinct anymore, if sex isn't an instinct and people didn't like it we would die out because every year more and more people would see sex as a bother , even now we have more and more people opting out of having children because they consider it a bother imagine how much more people would think that way if sex wasn't fun, there wouldn't even be accidents. Fact is once instinct was gone, those who didn't find sex fun didn't have sex therfore they didn't pass their genes on to the next generation so the next generation was made completly out of dna of people who thought sex was fun samething happens with people that don't want kids, they won't so their genes that created a person who thought like that don't get passed on, we call them genetic dead ends

Males do what sex more though, they have more testosterone in their bodies! I'm not saying girls don't want it at all but men have more desire to have lots of sex, and are more open for casual sex, gosh they even pay women to have sex with them! It's not very common for a girl to hire someone for sex.
its not very common for girls to be ENCOURAGED to do any of the above. that is the extent of the differences between male and female sex drive. as far as testosterone. men produce more but it is 15 times more powerful for women.. do the math. in addition it is only one chemical there are many others we know if and still more we dont. Serotonin is what makes people happy. Oxytocin is very closely tied to sex and reproduction. In guys it causes erection. This is what is released during orgasm. Oxytocin stimulates numbs pain and creates warm, fuzzy feelings of trust and intimacy. Its probably because of all these neurotransmitters we like sex so much.

Bonobo chimps go at it at least as promiscuously as Humans. Monkeys, cetaceans, some pinnipeds... there are plenty of examples of this kind of sexual behavior in the animal kingdom - homosexual as well as heterosexual.
if we didn't think about sex all the time or at least some of the time, and didn't find it enjoyable, there wouldn't be as much of us walking around today

what are you talking about? animals want sex often as well if you arouse them just as us humans. Look at dogs for instance they are always humping things everywhere.
