This is not a simple black and white question.

50 years ago it would be easy to say that men are. Biologically one man can get several women pregnant in one day. He also doesn’t have to worry about getting pregnant himself (although some very deranged people think men can get “pregnant” now which is insane but that’s a separate topic).

Men do have worries after sex though. Besides STDs/unwanted pregnancies he now has to worry about false allegations. They aren’t that common but #metoo proved they are common enough to make most me paranoid. Feminism is constantly changing the definition of what is and is not “consent”. They basically change it to fit whatever the women’s emotions says it is after the fact.

But anyway men do feel strong impulses do to DNA, testosterone and constant visual tiggers. We are getting bombarded with images of the female body daily online, media, entertainment, etc. Also young women are more “expressive” about showing off their bodies in public now. You almost always see women in gyms wearing tight yoga pants and sports bras. That doesn’t give guys an excuse to harass them but they are going to notice whether women like it or not.

Honest everything really sucks nowadays. If a man can get away with being promiscuous he will likely do it but it’s not good for him in the long run. If he can’t manwhore it up he will feel constant urges, temptations and depression he isn’t getting any at all.

Ideally he should be dating and/or married to one woman. Many men are but a large growing percentage of men are single nowadays. They might have their own faults and selfish reasons but it’s really women who changed everything first with “sexual liberation”. They are supposed to be “commended” nowadays for being promiscuous.

I would say mathmatically - no. The frequency of sex between both genders (excluding gay/other) has to be the same.

The distribution however is rapidly different for the top quality males. Most females 5-10 are all taking turns sleeping with males who are 8-10's while trying to lock one of them in. Most other guys who are 3-8 are dating girls who are 1-4's. And the 1-2 lvl males get nothing generally.

Once the top quality males settle with their female 8-10s they are equal too, or chose not to settle and the female 5-8's start to give up then the males 5-8s get a chance to pair off with their equals (and have to hope they dont get cheated on in the future).

So if the definition is “having multiple sexual partners” then in my opinion yes guys are more promiscuous. A lot of dudes have the nerve to brag about how many girls they slept with and I see other dudes and ladies just eat it up and cheer them on like thats not nasty as hell.  A hoe is a hoe and a hoe don’t discriminate when it comes to gender.  I wish more women would look down on those specific men like those men look down on women for being passed around.  But I actually respect the man who wants a woman with less sexual partners AS LONG AS he also had less sexual partners .  And trust me, my definition of less is under double digit numbers.  But when a guy has fcked over 10, 20, 30+ girls then has the nerve to get mad at the girl for doing the same, I just look at them both as the pot calling the kettle black. And some girls make me sick with that “we should not be slut shamed”. Well don’t be a hoe and then you don’t have to be shamed for hoeing. Matter of fact,, be a hoe but shame the hoes shaming you in return. How about that? Simple as that 🤷‍♀️ I try not to go out of my way to call someone out unless they literally asked “Do you think I’m a hoe for having this many sexual partners” and then I’d simply say yes or no.

Promiscuity is more sexual-related.

Women usually just want attention and serious-based recognition/respect. SOMETIMES. Sometimes and some women also want attention for the sexual purposes and that is promiscuous.

Men are promiscuous in manly ways to impress and win sex. Women are promiscuous in seduction and try to allure men. Both have the same goal, and sometimes women do indeed try to impress and sometimes men enjoy seducing females.

Who does it more? I’d say those who are more sexual-minded, while confident, assertive. I feel like mostly men would check off all those boxes.

BUT I CAN and would accept if I’m wrong. I just never associated men with promiscuity. Maybe verbal promiscuity lol that smooth talk and swagger walk. That seems promiscuous. 🤔

Yes men are. But women would be more promiscuous than men if:

Most men were capable in bed and:
If society didn't shame women for having sex.

In my experience most girls are more horny than most guys. Girls want GOOD sex far more than guys do.

But the best sex for a girl is better than the best sex for a guy. All us guys need is a quick nut. Women need a little bit more and that little bit most men are clueless about.

So yes men are trying harder to get laid but it's more important for us.

In my experience those women who do have a lot of casual sex are very choosy. They vet the men they want to fuck.

They vet the men by testing them. Flirting or saying kinky shit and see how he reacts. They know a guy is good in bed or not based on how he reacts.

But mostly, most women are not bothering to have casual sex. For what? To have a bad night with a weirdo and not have any orgasm?

No, I would say women are. It is said the pool of guys women are messing around with is smaller and I tend to agree with that.

A higher percentage of women are sleeping with a smaller percentage of the total pool of men.

Plus it is just so much easier for women to have sex if they choose.

Lets 'qualify' that. Men MAY WANT to have more 'strange' sex than women, but DO THEY? Maybe some men can, if they are attractive enough to attract a lot of 'do able' women. Women have always had the advantage over men when it comes to getting laid, and we all know that. I have met VERY attractive women that have fucked 100 or more women by the time their husband left them for their promiscuity. Just because men WANT to be promiscuous, doesn't mean they can be.

Women are much more promiscuous. Promiscuity is part of liberal morals, and far more women have liberal morals than men.

In real life from the people I have met, many more women have been promiscuous and unfaithful than men.
