Wo start putting their hands all over the other person? The females. Can you female be friends with others without the sex elements? Animals are able to get emotionally attached the same way people are so you are wrong. Only about 3-5% of 5,000 species of mammals are monogamous tho, I give you that, but modern humans are so different, why even try to compare? Fucking some random dudes just doesn't do it for me, it feels robotic and boring when you don't care for the person, that's how most women feel.

When you look at it that way, yea, that's what romance is, having an emotional connection to someone you find sexually attractive. A man is possessive of a woman who stands out from the others and wants to make sure she won't have kids with other men and a woman needs someone to protect them and their kids. It does serve a purpose, that's why most still want it even though world has changed so much. Idea of love just gives comfort, it does make people happier if they end up being with someone compatible and that's why I think that sex isn't all we need and love isn't bs even if some people just prefer to see it in a less "glorified" way.
@Rosieeh love is actually bs made up by weak people, cause its easier to believe you will find somebody who will "complete you" instead of actually growing stronger. Strong and intelligent people don't want/need it usually. And no, the majority of people nowadays are looking for casual sex
True, it's bad to have a relationship just for the sake or having a relationship, it won't "complete" or "fix" you in any way, but it won't (at least shouldn't) take anything away either. It's just two people who find each other, are attracted, have an emotional bond and don't want to have sex with other people. Can't see anything wrong with it, can you? How does wanting that make someone unintellegent or weak? For wanting affection and sex from the same person you trust? I respect your opinion and all but that's just kinda weird way of seeing things if you think that's bad.
@Rosieeh the case you described happens one in a million cases. Most cases, it ends with somebody getting hurt. And when that happens, pain is far bigger and stronger than joy was. You realize it wasn't worth it. So its like betting where the odds are against you, you have much to lose and very little to gain. Thats why intelligent people tend to avoid it
I'd say much to lose AND just as much to gain. I rather try, if I get lucky than just skip a big part of growing as a person. Being able to love even after being hurt really badly is what I call a strong person. Anyway, the point is that sex isn't all there is, but for having a long happy relationship you need some luck to find the right person and have to work hard to maintain it. That's where many fail, being too self obsessed and forget to think about the other person and their needs.
@Rosieeh I disagree. There is almost nothing to gain. Sex with the same person over and over again. That gets boring after a few weeks. And somebody who got hurt but opens up to love again is an idiot. Its like burning your hand on a stove, then when it heals trying again. Strength has nothing to do with it. As for growing as a person, for guys actually casual sex and hook ups is what makes you grow as a person. Maybe fir girls is different, I dont know that
Just because it's a different person, it doesn't make it automatically interesting or exciting. If sex with one person gets boring in few weeks, either you or your partners have been really... should I say unimaginative. When you have sex with someone know and love it's more personal and intimate. All you have to do it spice it up sometimes with a roleplay or something like that. Why sleeping around makes you grow as a person in your opinion? Could you expand on that? I mean, hooking up is just way for people to have "fun" it won't really affect on you in any way.

@Rosieeh the thing is, girls can have sex at any time, withiut any effort. even the ugliest girls. but for guys, getting laid is really hard. even with just one girl. so if a guy can sleep around, it means he worked a lot on himself, and grew so much. thats the essence. just like guys who can pick up 200kg have to be muscular, in the same way guys who can sleep with a lot of girls have to be really awesome and skilled

@Rosieeh it helps with maturity and emotional strength too. just in a different way. you get shot down and "hurt" many times, you learn to keep going and to forget about your ego. you learn how to solve problems. maybe by "emotional sttength" you were talking about being strong in love when shit breaks down, but as i said, love is retarded, and the best thing you can do is avoid it. you also learn that through learning game.
Love itself isn't retarded, people are. Everything ends someday no matter what, I don't see a reason to completely stop trying. If you lose a friend, are you going to stop getting new friends? Sure, the old friend can't be replaced, but you can find a new friend who can become just as special and important and maybe even be there for you longer than the first one.
