  • Pull out, when practiced PERFECTLY is about 80 percent effective. However, younger men with little experience and even less self control will fail at this method consistently. Condoms with foam or melting inserts are about 95% effective. New condom and foam or insert at EVERY SEXUAL ENCOUNTER. Meaning if you do it three times in a night, you use three condoms and three shots of sperm killer of whatever type you like.

    Then there are loops inserted in a woman's uterus: about 98%. Dalkon Shields were an older version of this method, but newer brands are safer and more effective. There are upper arm inserts that are 99 percent reliable for either 5 or 10 years. And the old semi reliable birth control pill. BUT USE IS THE KEY.

    If you use ANY OF THESE METHODS sloppibly, you will eventually get pregnant. If you forget your pill any one day, you must use backup birth control. There is also natural family planning which is about 85% effective alone. The mucous method, plus the termperature method combined is about 90%. Either alone about 85.

    Both of those tells when a woman is ovulating, usually to the day and hour. Then you abstain from sex during those fertile days: about 10 days a month. AGAIN, if you DON'T ABSTAIN, Pops goes the baby!

  • My husband and I have been using this method before we got married and it worked fine for us. However, it is still risky because every woman has a different level of fertility where some can easily get pregnant compare to the others. I know some of my friends who got pregnant from it.

  • Sure, I've done it with many girls and never gotten them pregnant. As long as you time it right and don't get any cum in her. I don't know how this is possible, but I've had female friends before that had pregnancy scares because their guys managed to get some cum in them while they were pulling out.

  • Are you referring to the pull out method? It generally isn't the most reliable method but it also depends depends on the guy and his level of control. Some guys can pull out before cumming very easily other guys leave it you late and just can't pull out in time.
