Does Pumpkin "Really" Turn Guys On?
So this was originally going to be a question about pumpkin cream cheese and if you'd try? But when looking up images, it popped up that pumpkin turns guys on... Never heard that one before, so just had to ask... Is it true or false?

What Girls & Guys Said
13 74Ah, it's Spookley.
Lololol
I associate pumpkins with Halloween, Apple cider fest, watching T. V. with uncle Tony while eating the baked pumpkin seeds he just pulled out of the oven, making comparisons between different varieties of pumpkins between a shady spot and a sunny spot we planted them in too see which environment certain varieties preferred, and cleaning up the remains of pumpkins used as projectiles by trick or treaters who decided too trick with jack o lanterns and toilet paper, but no memories of pumpkins having anything too do with intimate activities with the opposite sex. Sorry, but Pumpkins don't = horny in my personal equations.
Yeah I ain't never heard such a thing before either 🤷🏼♀️
Maybe it's one of those fad based marketing schemes, like crystallized beet juice or something.
Lol right... Maybe
The only proven aphrodisiacs I'm aware of is chocolate and other coco based comenstibles. Does something too alter the brain chemistry too make some guys and girls with a genetic recessive trait towards coco elevating overall moods, of arousing the hornies within.
The horniest🤣
*hornies
Yo babe, ditch that soft little eggplant and come sit on my rock-hard gourd.
Omg ROFLMAO 😂😂
MHO holy shit
@Futron THIS COULD BE US, BUT YOU PLAYIN' . . .
Lololol
Lavendar and pumpkin😐 this adds more to the men are from Mars theory
Lololol right 🤣
I don't think so but I hardly get pumpkins so who knows
Yeah, I like pumpkin so who knows I imagine it would turn me on.. LMAO
👍😂😂
@brainsbeforebeauty ❤
I hate both pumpkin and lavender, I also hate perfumes and other scents
You wanna know what turns a guy on, is slow cooked marinated BBQ ribs, I guarantee you cook that and nail it, a guy will roll over like a puppy, like cook him some real food
Wut? really?😂🤣😂🦄🦋
😂🤷🏼♀️ lol
Da things ya learn on g@g😂🤣
😂😂😂
I don't think this is true for me.
👍👍🙂
I doubt it
Maybe if they went 'Pumpkin was the most powerful turn-on, especially when mixed with viagra!' or something
Lol right
hmmm... never really thought of it before but.. just seeing this question has me subconsciously smelling pumpkin and here is how I am right now... so to your question, I guess yes... it turns me on :)
Yeah but with you that could be from anything 😂😂
Never heard of it
Also i heard chocolate makes people hornier i eat it but i don't notice anything
Yeah see I never heard of it either... And yeah don't think chocolate ever did much for me either
Never heard of that before. As far as I can recall I don't remember wanting to jump my wife after getting pumpkins for Halloween.
😂😂😂
I think that's some Cosmo Magazine crap. I like pumpkin stuff but it doesn't make me more sexual.
Right, 👍👍
So I can genuinely only remember eating Pumpkin once. I was probably about 7/8 years of age and was at school with a couple of American exchange students. The boy was the same age/and in the same class as my brother and the daughter was in the same age group as me. My parents had made friends with the parents of the Americans and so it was arranged for me and my brother to visit there house after school and experience a US Halloween. So even as a 7/8 year old this probably could be classed as my first date and I only mention this as the rest of my dating history follows a similar path lol. On this day in question it had rained so much and my school was at the top of the hill, on my lunch break I managed to slip down the hill and end up in a big puddle. My clothes were drenched in Mud, so I was taken to lost property and given a pair of striped shorts and a brown jumper to replace my uniform, so that is how I was picked up by the parents of our American friends... who no doubt looked at me and wondered why my parents would dress me so weirdly! Hence I can't remember what pumpkin pie taste likes and have never been in a rush to try it again.
😂😂 you seem to have a bad luck cloud that follows you 😂😂
@brainsbeforebeauty I don't at all I've been really lucky to have a nice life and been surrounded by nice people, but the few bad luck stories I've had in my life are always going to be more amusing so they are the ones I share. Comedy =tragedy + time lol.
Nicely put
I have never heard this before. I enjoy pumpkin but it doesn’t give me an erection.
Well that's good if Thanksgiving dinner could get awkward if pumpkin pie is involved 😂😂
Yeah. Not with me.
Yes, BB4B, that is true! I've dealt with scents for nearly 30 years as part of Massage Therapy, and this one seems to come up every fall, in some context for me - - - . Yes, a handful of years ago, a decently- conducted study DID, in fact, show that pumpkin PIE and lavender scent- especially in combination- were/was taking the top spot for guys most often.
Re the cheese. When someone talks about "pumpkin", they usually mean pumpkin PIE aroma/flavor when the pumpkin is mixed down with cinnamon, allspice, clove and other spices. The cheese I SAW in the store and which I now MAKE a variation of, is cream cheese with cinnamon and Craisins (sweetened dried cranberries). Yum.
Yeah that's what it said, I've just never heard it before
And here I thought it was fresh apple pie that did the trick.
When they smell it baking 😂
American Pie reference?
@jack187625 No mine is 100% Canadian pie. LOL
Lololol 🤣
Lol wtf?
If the guy likes pumpkin I mean I guess it could turn him on. But in general that makes about as much sense as I don't know a bag of white rice turning guys on.
I for one don't like pumpkin so it definitely would not turn me on.
👍👍😂
I've never heard that before. But pumpkin cream cheese does sound interesting
Yeah I don't know maybe 🤷🏼♀️ I do make a pumpkin cheesecake for Thanksgiving sometimes and it's pretty good so
Get on the right contacts, I'd certainly be willing to try a lavender pumpkin mix. 😉 But sexual arousal aside, a pumpkin cheesecake sounds ridiculously tasty
Lol thanks
There are these things made out of cake and pumpkin cream cheese. They're made out of a thin layer of cake spread with the cream cheese stuff, and then rolled up. You cut the roll into round slices. They are F***ing delicious! I haven't had one for a long time.
Do you remember the name of them? I want to try them now

Thank you!!!
@Lliam that looks good, imma have to try that.. Maybe for Thanksgiving
