Ever hooked up with someone you met at a wedding?

The prevailing wisdom is that women are in SUCH a romantic mood when they attend a wedding that if a guy at a wedding can't get laid, then he is absolutely hopeless. I know that - obviously - people occasionally meet at a wedding and hookup. But how often? Only way to get an approximate answer is to ask you: have you ever hooked up with someone you met at a wedding? If so, did you hook up AT the wedding, somewhere else that same day, or sometime later? If so, was it just a hookup or did it lead to a dating relationship?

  • Weddings are rubbish for hook ups. Most people attend with a partner, even if it's just for the night, so it's hard to spot who's single. Plus guys tend to be on their best behaviour and not hitting on potential pussy.

In college, at a friend’s wedding at a resort in the mountains, I hooked up with an older woman -who initiated everything with me and really blew me away- the night before the rehearsal. The next day, I discovered she was the (married) minister who was officiating the wedding. True story. That was a crazy weekend.
