Be confident and make yourself approachable, and things will start to fall into place. In my experience, when you find someone you click with... it kinda just happens. Not saying that that's flawless or that you can just go out and *boom* something happens- but you never know either. At the same time, if all you do is work and then stay at home, you're not going to run into as many people.
