I am going to treat this as though you ARE genuinely asking because you are really wondering about this.

So, basically, there is a "stereotype" (although there is a shitload of truth in it as far as I can tell) that girls who... crave overtly sexual male attention. Especially from guys who are older than you are "the way they are" because they've got "daddy issues."

The general theory goes: A woman often acts that way because of some traumatic or lingering unresolved issues between her and her father. So she never learned how to relate to men properly. Everything is sexual, it's the way she seems to receive validation. A girl who wants guys to WANT TO FUCK her... rather than a girl who wants a guy to think she's beautiful.

So, your question, coupled with this picture of you with giant tits and a super-revealing outfit... makes you look exactly like a girl who might have daddy issues. That's why these other dudes are laughing.

But a lot of it is probably inappropriate to say, considering I know nothing at all about you, or about your life. I want to say though, that... the "daddy issues" thing is a stereotype. And there does seem to be truth to it... it's also like a half-joke. In general I mean. So, for example, there are girls who tend to like older guys who will TELL you they're someone with daddy issues (in a half-joking way... but she IS saying that she tends to like older men. Like playing-off of the stereotype). So even this guy who originally made the comment to you, didn't necessarily mean it in a MEAN way. It probably was meant in a half-joking half-flirty way. It's not something that is taken to be like "a serious thing". Those misogynistic guys who have this deep hatred and resentment for women (incel types) are said to be guys with "mommy issues" (although this is a much newer concept than the "daddy issues" counterpart). I'm sure some of those guys DO have issues with their relationship with their mothers. But it's not like... those guys are all ACTUALLY that way because they've got issues with their mother. It's just a broad stereotype, and a half-joke. Same thing here.

Not knowing your dad and having older boyfriends can almost describe daddy issues. You don't have the elder man figure in your developmental years. Now you seek it in romantic relationships. While there's a sexual aspect to it, you also are seeking the presence of an older man to fill the void you had in your childhood. Daddy issues get a bad rap, but they're not bad. They're psychological and generally result from a form of trauma in your childhood, in your case the lack of a male role model/father figure.

Probably because their mom is the only female who hasn't described them as ugly (as they see it). Incels generally aren't seeking older women in the same way that girls with daddy issues are seeking older men (although it's unconscious). Incels are seeking any girl willing to have sex with them who they don't have to pay.

Now, I think that the sexual aspect that my post was about, is an important key component. Like, that HAS to be there for anyone to describe it as "daddy issues." If it's a case of a girl seeking older men to fulfill the emotional void, but without the sexual element that I was talking about... nobody would use the term "daddy issues." At the same time, what you're talking about is absolutely just as important a piece of this. In a way your answer is certainly the better of the two. Yours is an explanation of the legitimate emotional and psychological basis for there being "a lot of truth" in the stereotype. My explanation was only a tiny sliver of an answer. It's a key piece... but it's nowhere near a full or proper answer. It was definitely missing... every single thing you just said here. @Twalli Tbh, the way I handled this question has been bugging the shit outta me since I wrote my original reply. I've been thinking about it A LOT. It's been gnawing at me. I write... very much without thinking. Because that's how I speak in real life. I just say "whatever it seems like I should say" with no pre-planning whatsoever. 99% of the time that works out great for me. The guys who seem to have an unaccountable resentment or hatred toward women. I think it's based on two ideas. The first is that something that got twisted in the relationship between a guy and his mother has led to him having a twisted view of women overall. The second, is just the simple: "Dude... you know your mother's a woman right? Do... you also think your mom's a whore who should be raped?" Leading to the assumption there are issues there. To me, the poster-boy for 'mommy issues' would be Andrew Tate. While he's a walking pile of diseased-human-garbage who I hope chokes to death on his next meal in prison--He's kinda the polar opposite of an incel.
