Guys, do you resort to bad vises to deal with stress or do you have better alternatives to handle it?

I guess I'd try to resolve the issue that is causing me stress. If that's not possible, I try to relax and take my mind of it, possibly by reading. One of my favorite things is to go out in my yard.
Here's something I wrote a while back:
When things look gloomy, observing nature brings me peace. For me, it's like a form of meditation. Sitting on the ground, watching puffy, white clouds in a brilliant blue sky. Watching the movement of water in a babbling brook and listening to the musical sound. The ocean. Waterfalls. Forests. Admiring the colors and textures of landscapes. Breathing the air and the sweet smells. Feeling the sun and the breeze. Sitting on the grass and observing the various bugs purposely bumbling among the blades on their errands of discovery. Noticing the wide diversity of ground covering plants and tiny flowers that grow among the grasses. Getting close to a flowering bush and watching the bees and pollinators busily and, I think, happily going from flower to flower. Watching and listening to birds. Catching glimpses of lizards and other creatures. Observing the contrast and diversity of plants from mosses, to flowers to trees. Every living thing moves with purpose at its own designated pace. Yet they are content, unconscious of the passage of time or the weight of the world. They are 100% in the moment. They don't worry, they just do.
To be alive and have the opportunity to experience creation with all my senses fills me with gratitude, awe and wonder.
When I ponder these things my worries slip away for the moment. I think, "What's the worst that could happen?" Things will turn out as they will.
Another GOLD STAR opinion! :)
Thank you, laurie. :-)
Each and every single one of us are put up against something each and every day it's not the thing that we are put up against it's how we're going to deal with it you have to understand this is a moment in time that's it this moment will pass look at all the past things that you have gone through have you made it through it okay. The answer is yes did sometimes you make it harder than difficult. The answer is yes what's the best way to fix this situation. The answer is to take it on will you get through this of course it's just a moment in time
This is gonna sound really weird... but I come here and debate with people.
It keeps my mind focused on one task at a time and distracts me from my own bad thoughts.
If things get REALLY overwhelming then I will turn out all the lights, put on thunderstorm sounds and hide under a blanket for a while before falling asleep.
Wow, that is different but sounds great if it works for you! Thank you for sharing :)
I take a nic drive either to the coast or the country, in the country I lean on a gate or fence and watch the wild life,, at the beach just watch the waves or people enjoying themselves that will take away any stress,

I typically only get stressed when I feel like there is a lot to do and no time to do it all so it helps me to block schedule my day.
Or I go shoot guns. Or I block schedule range time into my day 😂
Nice! :)
I usually resort to exercise. I like running, but sex or masturbation also helps!
Bondage/worshipping my dom/getting whipped/electrostimulation/rough sex
Video games
Books
Drawing/painting
Coding/math
Building furniture also does it for me. Building from scratch with my own hands. I also find building PCs a bit relaxing.
I stopped caring.
Prevention is better than cure ;)
I usually meditate or turn off as much mental stimulation as possible
3 things! The gym, take out some of the stress and aggression i have without hurting anyone. A oil massage and some serious feet rub and finally! Killing some zombies 🧟🧟♀️ on my pc, like 3000 zombies 😁. What about you? I don't know what your job is and how stressful it is?
I work for my dad. Some stress as I am his executive assistant and office manager and help manage properties which has been challanging with the covid fraud but not too bad :) I work out at four different health facilities, which includes yoga, racquetball, pickleball, swimming, and MMA practice. All help with any stress but still orgasms tops the list... lol
Masterbation, controlled breathing, kissing, stretching, are different ways of finding relief of different forms of stress and built up tension.
I work on my the things I enjoy like my car. Play video games, go to the shooting range and so on and so forth. No drugs needed.
Sex with the right person , if I can’t get sex then exercise , or throw back some beers , and smoke a little doob and just say Fuck it all
I used to drink a lot but now I just suck it up
I just get on a balance beam and stretch my leg over my shoulder and head for a while.
Seriously, generally speaking, I'd go have a long, rousing bash on my drums!! As I don't have any room for them here, I'll just listen to certain types of music that gets my ya-yas out.
I get fucked n get relaxed
I hope that everyone would get a massage. ;- )
In reality, depending on the severity of the stress, I would find and eliminate the source, change my expectations first , or (then) get my massage.
I go to the park and shoot baskets/play basketball. Whenever I'm there every problem I have melts away.
I drink alcohol. 💞
I take long drives
By crying. 😢
I try and have sex! It's a great stress reliever.
I exercise and get outside.
