It is more that someone who thinks sex is the most special sacred thing on the planet and the more partners you have, the less value it has. That doesn't work out well with someone who has a lot of partners. Which is why it comes up by the 6th date or so, before things get too seriously going. Some guys have even said, it is like being married a bunch and divorced, it has no value after so many times. This is how the vast majority of guys are around here are who want a long term relationship. The ones that don't just want another number to rack up. Seems like my choice is bad boy who just wants sex or decent guy who is saving himself for marriage.

So they see marriage as a sex. I can understand. I do not know where you live and the guys around you but there are many guys who thinks that past is past when really loves someone. Thank you for your kind words. Value is in the eye of the beholder, which is pretty much the mytake I wrote on number of sexual partners last week. No one will ever be able to change someone else values. Some people think of sex and marriage as the same thing, it is actually very common, both men and women do this. Who am I or anyone else to say their values are wrong? Others will say, history doesn't matter at all but then turn around and say it does if someone has a criminal history. They pick and choose what history does matter. Everyone is different, doesn't really matter. No one is going to change anyone's mind about anything. No one should even bother trying. I can see all sides of the situation, it seems to be a unique gift I have. No matter what my personal feelings or beliefs are I can see and sympathize/empathize with the others point of view and how and why they feel/believe that way and why it hurts or doesn't hurt them. I'm never going to convince a guy who thinks sex is sacred that I do too, just isn't going to happen. I also don't want to destroy or tear down his values, because then he would not be the same person anymore. I know I am who I am now because of my sexual past. I never would of done what I did, if I had not been assaulted. A lot of my sexual partners, I was just using guys, strictly for my own self pleasure while trying to regain some sense of control in my life. My regrets are hurting people in the process while doing so. Turns out when I wanted a relationship guys just couldn't get past what I had done. Not all sex is innocent adult fun, some is very damaging mentally, emotionally and has a wide ranging effect to other innocence's who weren't even part of it.

I am so sorry for your assault firstly. I hope you are better now. I strongly suggest you to go therapist it will help you a lot. ( i do not know whether you went or not) of course everything you live makes you who you are now. Men who you were with either religious or conservative i think that’s why it can be hard for them so it is not your fault. Of course everyone can have values and i respect them too. I think when you find who you are compatible with you will be happy. I did read your my take and there are some ‘’sexist’’ comments written by some people who hates feminists because they think they are ‘’sexist’’ hah. 😂 Do not care what people say or think the ones who give right to man to sleep around and do not give women right to do that will be the ones who will marry with the girls who were sleeping around but they would be the ones who would never say their sexual Body count. Because life is like that. Nobody is completely HONEST like you are. You lived something and you are honest about it even though you can lose the man you love. So do not be ashamed of what you live and try to heal your trauma by getting some professional help, i am so sure that you will be happier and find the man who really loves you completely.
