I will shave when it needs it, however I'm not one to shave then 3 days later shave again I let it grow a bit. Mainly because of the worry of ingrown hairs happening and the irritation. Also I mainly shave for my boyfriend I'd be happy enough keeping it trimmed down.

Unless I'm sleeping with someone at the time I just keep it trimmed way down, if I know I'm going to get lucky it gets completely shaved 😂

The second it starts getting prickly. Probably after 3 - 4 days? Especially if I'm going to my bfs house, shaven even if I shaved the day before, just so things are smooth as possible.

  Yeah but if you wax there, it won't be prickly and stubby even on the second day of aftercare. You should but a cheap wax pads in the supermarket such as Veet brand and than go for wax.
