People have different levels of stamina. However,

5 minutes up to 20 minutes are the scientufically submitted as an average duration for male's ejaculation.

Intercourse is not supposed to last 40 minutes or an hour on average. That is rare and particularly a fantasy of the porn industry for the most part.

15 mins is really avg. Even for 1st time. Like someone else said, everyone's stamina and tolerance is different, honestly 15 min is kinda short. Especially if you break it down in sections: at least the first 5 min- flirting and kissing to set the mood, the next min is starting up and getting in the rhythm, and the last 5 min is probably him trying to fight back from finishing but ultimately can't get enough of it and finished anyway.
