Is it okay to send nudes?

Personally, I am young and think it is very much okay (if it is your choice and you have not been pressured). I think being strongly against nudes sends the wrong message that you should hide your body. I understand that once you send a picture like that, it can't be unsent, and it could get in anyone's hands, but why should we be so ashamed of people seeing our bodies? It's our choice and I'm sick of feeling guilty. Does anyone agree with me?

Well, you're under 18 so for starters it's illegal. That alone should be enough to tell you the impact it can have on your life.
It's not about shame, it's about privacy, self respect and learning how relationships dynamics can change when you're no longer in favour with someone.
Say you send them to your boyfriend, and a few months later he thinks he saw you send a text to someone else and dumps you. He then sends every naked photo to his friends, who pass it to theirs until all have circulated your entire school. You get called a slut and a tramp and people make fun of you, your friends dump you so they're not associated. You get arrested, charged with distributing minor porn which gives you a record even if there is no jail time. That record then impacts your college and employment opportunities.
Just because there is no shame, doesn't mean it's not a stupid idea

It's okay if you understand that the person you are sending them to will only have loyalties to you when you are on speaking terms. In time, if you both drift apart they'll no longer feel entrusted with the private pics you've sent to them

So as long as you don't have an issue with your pics being seen by anyone other than the guy you are sending them to, then it's okay.

honestly if you're sending it to your man it shouldn't matter but at your age you'll definitely have to be careful because anybody your age might not be mature enough to deserve that kind of picture no matter if that is your guy or not. never send to a stranger online and if you decide to do it now, just make sure to never show your face

Except for your age, I would say yes. Till you reach legal age it is illegal for you to take them or send them, and illegal for the receiver to get and have them.

Once you are of legal age, then if you have thought it through and take precautions to prevent it being used against you, then go for it and enjoy it. The precautions I am talking about are avoiding being able to be identified in the picture. Face, certain tattoos, background items can all identify you and that may be used to harm you in the future.

I go to nude beaches and resorts, and ride in nude bike rides. So I am 100% with you that there is nothing to be ashamed of. And nothing wrong with doing it to arouse people, as long as you are old enough. I hope you can hold off till you are of legal age, then do as you please and do not feel guilty!

As someone who as lived and learned more than the young. At your age, you honestly have no idea of the kind of impact such a pic can have. It's not something you can take back, once it becomes public, it's there forever.

I know this may sound patronising, but making a decison that will potentially negatively impact your life for, well, the rest of your life, shouldn't be made at an age where that concept is not fully understood.

Realize, a high school relationship rarely lasts. Do you expect him to keep the images to himself? Either way that is child pornography and he could become a sex offender for life, don't send him any seriously. You don't need to do that, it is very unnecessary, caucuses problems, you will regret them later, etc. He can use them for black mail. Once you send it, its no longer your call who gets to see it.

At your age its distributing child porn and any one looking at it has also commuted a crime. I have no problem with people over 18 sending them but younger than that then you don't fully understand the repercussions for yourself or those that see them.
