The cup is the difference in circumference on top of the breast compared to the circumference below the breast, which would be the number associated. So by definition, that's not true. Strictly talking American sizes, I would estimate her a 36 or 38 B

36 or 38 is quite big. The waist measurement for someone with a 36 band would be around 34", and the waist measurement for someone with a 38 band would be around 36 inches. So a US dress size 12-14.

Once you didn't add inches to your underbust measurements, and once you weren't squishing your boobs AT ALL with the measuring tape for the bust measurement, then that looks right! Makes way more sense than that guy who said 36 or 38B anyways

@softlyautumnal yeah I’m definitely not a 36 or 38 band size. I usually wear 32B but I’ll be on the look for 30 B bras. It’s hard to find them in the lower band sizes though!

Count yourself lucky, I'm a 26E (don't be fooled by the E, it's a very small size) and I find it so hard to find bras in that size. I'm pretty sure Aerie does 30B and people always recommend their bras! Boux Avenue also does it.
