Should porn be banned?

Porn has been proven to have a negative impact on both genders, not to mention the exploitation and dangers of the industry.
pornography likes to hide behind the first amendment, saying they have the right to expression by Constitution. However, the Constitution was written long before porn was invented. Otherwise, I don't think it would be included

  • 100% yes!

    • Thanks for being so smart and considerate by the way. It's so rare around here.

  • Yes and no. Ethically and morally probably yes. But because people are still going to search for it it just creates more legal problems. Better to focus on the people who are exploiting underage people.

  • It IS impacting society and impacting relationships. Many people would say no but how much will it impact society in 20 more years? Groups like BLM and Feminists want to promote female lead families without a male in it. What will the impact of that be? Most people can't envision what troubles can result from major culture shifts like these and by the time its apparent its too late.

    • I agree. I used to be democrat before they became too leftist. They want to legalize everything and ruin human value. They decriminalized heroin in SF and now the junkies from other states moved there and the city is a shithole with needles filling the sewers. I'm all for sexual freedom. Have sex w who you want, be as kinky as you want, but when it comes to sexploitation, homey don't play that

    • You are completely right. I am a libertarian (fewer rules more personal freedom AND responsibility) but I don't believe in anarchy ( no laws at all). San Francisco and Seattle (and other Western US cities) are living the lie everyday. They are proud that they don't prosecute people who shoot heroin and as a result more people flock there to do it openly without fear of arrest. The city is filled with homeless IV drug users who shit on the sidewalks, shoot up in front of businesses and homes and they sleep where they want because the city allows it and therefore encourages it. The city completely ignores the damage this has on residents, tourists, businesses and the drug users themselves. Instead they beat the drum of homelessness. Yes these people that are shitting everywhere, shooting up drugs in public and ruining your city ARE homeless, but not because the economy is bad and they can't get a job. No, they are homeless because that is the choice they made and that the cities enable. They keep screaming that they need more money to support these people. To house them and feed them and clothe them. If it wasn't for the huge corporations in their districts they wouldn't be able to do this Think about how much money that is wasted on these people. Why not spend the money on anything else? Why not spend the money of rehabilitating these people and allowing them to eventually support themselves
