Should women hold out on sex while dating until a man commits to a relationship?

My personal opinion: if a man likes you he likes. It don't matter rather you have sex on the first or the last date. If you hold out until you get into a relationship how will you know if you two are sexually compatible? I think you need to be all around compatible.
What do y'all think?
Dumb idea to hold out on sex to keep a man around. If he likes you he likes you regardless of how soon sex is intitiated

Look, holding out for a bit can be an annoyance for the guys (sometimes even for the girls) but it can be beneficial... HOWEVER, holding out too long can be very bad, the guy might lose interest and leave. This doesn't mean that we was only with you to fuck, it just means that, well, he got tired of waiting.

Personally I would never have sex with a woman I am dating. I find self restraint an absolute necessity until emotional connection is built, then I will ask her to be engaged. When this connection is built sexual relations are okay for me. I dont believe women should wait a certain time to 'clear out' the guy because if he wants to do casual sex he is talking to different women regularly.
