If you're talking about sex between consenting adults, then it isn't wrong. There is no rational reason for keeping laws or taboos against consensual incest that is consistently applied to other relationships.
Personal disgust or religion is only a reason why one person would not want to personally engage in what I call consanguinamory, not why someone else shouldn't do it. An adult should be free to share love, sex, residence, and marriage with ANY consenting adults. There are more people than you'd think out there who are in lifelong healthy, happy relationships with a close relative. It isn't for everyone, but we're not all going to want to have each others' love lives, now are we?
Some say "Your sibling should not be your lover." That is not a reason. It begs the question. Many people have many relationships that have more than one aspect. Some women say their sister is their best friend. Why can’t their sister be a wife, too? Why can’t their brother be their husband?
Some say “There is a power differential.” This applies least of all to siblings or cousins who are close in age, but even where the power differential exists, it is not a justification for denying this freedom to sex or to marry. There is a power differential in just about any relationship, sometimes an enormous power differential. To question if consent is truly possible in these cases is insulting and demeaning.
Some say “There are so many people outside of your family." There are plenty of people within one’s own race, too, but that is no reason to ban interracial marriage. So, this isn't a good reason either.
Some people try to justify their prejudice against consanguineous sex and marriage by being part-time eugenicists and saying that such relationships inevitably lead to “mutant” or “deformed” babies. This argument can be refuted on several fronts. 1. Some consanguineous relationships involve only people of the same gender. 2. Not all mixed-gender relationships birth biological children (as you note). 3. Most births to consanguineous parents do not produce children with significant birth defects or other genetic problems; while births to other parents do sometimes have birth defects. 4. We don’t prevent other people from marrying or deny them their reproductive rights based on increased odds of passing along a genetic problem or inherited disease.
Let people have the relationship they want.
Everyone knows about the physical argument against it- namely, inbreeding. 3rd degree incest (1st cousins) doubles the risk of children being born with genetic disorders, 2nd degree (aunts/uncles with nieces/nephews) trebles the risk, 1st degree (between siblings, or between parents and children) quadruples the risk. But this isn't really much of an issue in context- that's equivalent to the increased risk caused by a woman waiting until the age of 31, 35 and 38 respectively to conceive, as opposed to having a baby when she's 18-21. The moral argument, though, is mostly about manipulation, and grooming. If you exert the level of control and influence over someone's personal development that someone typically exerts over their child, grandchild, niece, nephew or even younger sibling's development, then it's difficult to see how such relationships can possibly not be manipulative, and have a dangerously one-sided power dynamic. Does the junior partner in the incestuous relationship truly love the senior partner of their own free will? Or have they instead between brainwashed or indoctrinated to do so?
Basically, many incestuous relationships have a huge question mark looming over them, regarding exactly how 'consensual' they are. For instance, a relationship between a parent and their child, even if the child's over the age of 18 and asserts that the relationship's fully consensual. Haven't they been raised by their parent, with their parent there to guide practically every element of their child's personal development from birth, and with the son/daughter having effectively been a captive of the parent for the entirety of their childhoods, subject to their parent's demands and denied full rights to self-determination for all that time? And as such, isn't child-parent sexual attraction just the ultimate form of Stockholm Syndrome?

As long as there are no children produced, for example, in a homosexual relationship (sister/sister, brother/brother), then I don't see anything morally wrong with it.
When you reproduce, that is clearly immoral because you're messing up a kid. Outside of that, as long as they're both consenting adults, the only arguments against incest are "it's gross" or "the bible says..." which are the exact same arguments people make against homosexuality.

Some cultures still allow incest and some monarchy kingdoms enforced that to keep the family lines pure. They said that Adam and Eve populated the earth and yet there are very little of retarded people around.
Yah we can all agree on the DNA thing, but I think it also has a lot to do with just being creepy. Like if a girl wants to have sex with her dad? that's unnatural, like I think the majority of girls don't want to do that. also think about the animals in the wild - when they are old enough they are forced out of the herd, to go find new mates, not stay in that herd and mate with their parents
i think its wrong because your not really getting the full understanding of what a relationship is and your views on somethings are never changed due too some facts they are taught to you by family.
for example while its not really something im proud of really my family has only been dating outside of family for 50 or so years because of deep rooted traditions of family values ad morals that came from centurys of not trusting not trusting anyone outside of family.
and while there is still some dysfunction being weeded out you can still see some of the effects of it in some of my older family members. and its something i never brung up seeing how im from the south and it was a normalcy a long time ago.
in fact one state over from me still allows the marriage of first cousins

It really comes down to having kids... the close DNA makes birth defects more common. It happens a lot with pets (dogs) and they have medical issues.
Technically we are all related if you go back far enough... especially if you are on an island. There isn't much diversity on small islands.

Just to clairfy i am an only child and never participated in incest. What i am about to say is based on logic, not idealism.
So from my own logical perspective i don't see what is wrong with concented sexual actions between family members (NOT THE PARENTS, Parents having sex with there kids i find morally wrong on so many levels). What i do see is wrong is having intercourse or forcing sexuality upon others in your family. The reason it is illegal is obviously because if a direct family member mutations start to happen to radically often resulting in reduced quality off the offspring.
So following the reason it is illegal that instantly means to my own logic that giving a handjob or oral is not wrong in my opinion as long as both parties want this equally. After all the decisive factor for outlawing can never be met if intercourse is avoided.

Simpler example is like of ACID and BASE. If they are of same PH same reactivity and same amount, the end result will be a salt. Instead of having a solution with is acidic or basic.
well let's see from a physical point of view if a relative would have a child with another relative then the child would have serious malformations
now if you think about it morally I think it depends usually your siblings understand you the best and know you better than anyone but you don't want a child with malformations so no incest would be bad
In my eyes I would have to say it's wrong especially if you're reproducing. From a physical stand point sex is sex but morally it's sick that some people would have sex with their son or daughter but if both are consenting adults I still think it's disgusting but not quite as bad as if a child is involved. And obviously if you reproduce those offspring are far more susceptible to a lot of abnormalities due to lack of diversity in the gene pool. Hope that helps. Good luck with your assignment
