I'd say for your age 1-2 is normal, 3 or 4 on the higher side of things. Obviously some people like yourself aren't capable of intimacy and can only go for hookup type deals.

With a lot of partners, even within relationships also shows that they make poor decisions repeatedly and are not a good match for any good person either.
16 is a high number even for an entire lifetime if it was a good person. For hook up people the number doesn't matter because they already lost all of their value to a good partner. So go have fun, just don't hide it/lie when meeting someone so they know what they are getting themselves into.
Why do you think that someone who is promiscuous can't be a good partner for a good faithful person? What value has been lost? I would never lie about how many people I've slept with, the person I decide to be with deserves to know things like that.
People that do hook ups don't value sex as part of a special emotional bond so it would never be as good being with them as it would be with someone that thinks of it as a special connection. Also they are significantly more likely to cheat. They don't value it the same way so it isn't as big of a deal to them. At least if they are honest about their past up front then that is something good and respectable. Many people are dishonest about their past.
Well I don't think that's true because like casual sex and sex with a long term partner are so much different. I don't think like one cancels out the either.
I don't know even one person IRL that had casual sex before and managed to have a successful exclusive LTR for over 10+ years. But I know plenty of people that didn't do casual sex and did manage to stay faithful for 10+ years. Personally I wouldn't be interested in having an SO that engaged in casual sex.
