Why do girls send guys naked pictures of themselves? Especially if they don't really know the guy for such a long time, or if they're still young (e. g. high school or college) and there's a good chance the relationship with the guy isn't going to work out? Many guys are assholes, and they'll post the pictures online. And then they never go away. Why do girls do that? Have you done it?

Its called sexting, I think its actually a small minority who post pics of girls online. I definitely agree that you should be careful who you show your body to, but if you are sexting with someone, you think you can trust them and you want to send them something sexy then go for it.
Small minority? Perhaps. But just look at https://www.amateurdump.net/ there are thousands of bad guys, and a girl just has to mistakenly trust one of them.
I think they do it for the same reasons as the guys who send dick pics.

The same question can be asked of guys. Ever used the Whisper app? I've had guys send me pictures of their undercarriage out of the blue on there, because they assumed I was female. Not a pretty sight but it's quite common and not only on that particular app. Presumably they're just really, really desperate to get laid. I don't know how sending dick pics to random strangers is going to fix that though.
As for why girls do it, insecurity maybe? Naivety?
I never received any nudes, so I guess girls only send nudes to guys that they deem worthy. But hey, as long as I can keep murdering people, I don't have a problem with anything. *Puts on Justin Bieber, takes Xanax, goes back to League of Legends.*
