Why do Girls wear thong? when it doesn't cover their private parts well?

i am still curiuos since long why do girls wear thongs, in case if they got a upskirt or something similar their all butts would be exposed like a NUDE one !!! hardly it cover their front part ! i saw my sister buying this too and wanted to ask this question but thought she would not be a right person to ask this.

You say guys don't wear g strings/thongs, but some of us do. I love them, keep myself extremely clean and hygienic at all times (so not "gross" or "dirty", if that's what you're thing to complain about). My whole life I bought progressively smaller and smaller guy's underwear, since I am of the less-is-more type taste, till eventually I discover g strings made just for males. I love the US made company I found! Their cuts and fabric are all ultra comfy, supportive, and very well made. I've happily never looked back, though I will wear the occasional low rise hip bikini type for certain situations.

Exactly ! i wanted to say the same thing but i was hesitating, how do girls wear such a thing which cause discomfort in their asshole !! Plus once my sister and me and my some friends were on roof, it was a windy day, my sister was wearing a cotton skirt and suddenly my sister got a high up skirt,... and because of her thin thong my all friends got to see ALL which they should not have !

That is the point. It shows your ass so you don't have underwear lines. The point of underwear is to cover the vagina and ass crack and that is what the thong does

Correct it is not a problem itself, but a girl must be careful what she wear over it in a particular situation to avoid any wardrobe malfunction, i had told a incident with my sister, still i feel embarrassed in front my friends.
