Why do I only attract young teen guys or old senior men?

Question

They're either teens or seniors. :D :( :D Why can't I stumble into a 30 year old +- I don't need a dude my age, but I either get complimented by much older men or drooled over by horny teens.

Now seriously, why is it like this for some girls? At first I thought it could be I'm just not attractive and/or interesting enough for people around my age (or slightly older) but if that would be true then I doubt I'd receive any kind of compliments/a sign of appreciation from these two "categories" either.

It might be because of how you act around teens and elders vs how you act around men you're attracted to. We all tend to act more relaxed, natural, and open around people we have no interest in, which is more attractive for anyone. But then we get nervous, close off, avoid eye contact, etc around people we find attractive. I've always thought it was funny that that's a completely normal instinct even though it's so counterproductive.

Could that be part of it?

I don't think there's a really good answer to this that wouldn't be consisting of just guessing unfortunately. Here's a guess to that point. Maybe young guys haven't gotten good at knowing how to talk to girls yet, older guys have, and some of the older guys like younger girls.

Tony Robbin says that we all have stories we tell ourselves and they are self-fulfilling prophecies. Whatever you're telling yourself, over and over, will become true. It just has to be that way. If you are telling yourself that you only attract teen guys or older men and you have concrete proof of this, then it's true. Guess what the next guy who is attracted to you will be? He will be either a young teen or an older man. It just has to be that way.

Men usually assume that women around their age would prefer an older man, because in practice they almost always do. So most of us subconsciously do not pay attention to women our age.

Sounds like you have qualities that attract the guys outside your age range. i have that issue only with gals. the real young ones always ask if I'm in Jr high or HS, and the gals above 60 when I'm looking for gals in their 20's
