Sexual Health Why do people assume you have a small penis if you have a small flaccid penis size?

I'm like 3 inches when flaccid but it can grow up to 6.2 inches, which is a bit more than double (I can fit both my hands around it and it still sticks out a little). So it's not a small penis. I've noticed that both boys and girls assume that a small flaccid size equals small penis. I've read about how girls try to touch guys penises when flaccid to see if it's big and when they find out the flaccid size is small they reject the guy. Guys usually bash other guys in the lockers room for having small flaccid penises. I know a girl that for sure would laugh and humiliate me if she saw my penis flaccid, she would assume it would only grow like half an inch to an inch only. But if I would show her my penis fully erect, she would probably change her mind completely. So why does this happen?

Girls never hear guys talking about this distinction and, if they have not been with many guys, they may not have had enough firsthand experience. For some guys, their flaccid size is very close to their erect size. For others, like you, penis size can double or more when going from flaccid to erect.
