Why do people not understand anal is normal?

This is mostly my response to another post about anal vs "normal" sex and how it compares. I, like lots of (most) guys love anal, and there are several reasons for it.
Why do people not understand anal is normal?
Anal sex *is* normal sex. There's nothing abnormal about it; it's been going on for thousands of years without issue. The Kama Sutra, anyone? I assume what is meant by "normal" is
"vaginal." And is it *better* than vaginal? Well no, but it's not worse either, it's just *different.* It's really really good. And so is pussy, but just in different ways. One of the main draws about anal is that there's basically no risk of pregnancy, and the guy doesn't have to be careful and can cum in her ass which feels absolutely amazing and it's hot as hell. But anal also usually requires more preparation because you need lube to do it unless you're a pro (some people say the rectum has *no* lube in and of itself which isn't true, but it does not have enough to have sex with usually). It is also easier to transmit STD infection in anal, *IF* one of you has an STD obviously (if you don't then it doesn't matter of course). And anal feels really good for the girl too, if she relaxes and gets used to it, but a lot of girls don't (or refuse to for some reason) get to that point.

Also of course with anal, she's gotta be clean in there, or else gross stuff can happen, so unless she's sure that she's clean and/or has used an enema to clean herself out, then it's not a good idea. Long story short, anal is awesome and if you are curious you should absolutely do it; the guy will probably be pretty happy at the suggestion. Use *WATER BASED* lube first (nothing other than water based ever), try a finger or two first gently to lube her up, then have him go slowly. It'll hurt a bit at first but just wait and after a few minutes she should get used to it and it'll start feeling good. What do you guys think? Good luck.

  • I wouldn't exactly call it a normal, but that doesn't mean that most of the stuff that you said isn't completely true. I say it's not normal because it serves no purpose aside from pleasure. And yes of course pleasure has a purpose, but in this context, namely sex, it's not something that was made to poke around in. Just like the mouth, hands, feet, boobs, armpits, or whatever anyone happens to be into. Normal, as I understand you to be asking doesn't involve the use of any part of your body for purposes that they were not intended for. That said, I love anal sex because I find it very enjoyable, especially if it's being performed by somebody that knows what they're doing and not some inexperienced dude that just wants to poke at a tiny little hole as hard as you from the moment my clothes come off! Yes it has a negative stigma, and this makes many girls fear it perhaps or just not think that they should have to do it. Or they fight it and make it very uncomfortable. I have to be honest, if the guy is experienced and is intending on pleasing me he generally does everything right and truly no pain involved. I've noticed a couple positions that put pressure against the right places, just inside my butt and I can orgasm from anal sex or even just a single finger. But pushing deep, not necessarily rough, at least for most girls, feels very satisfying to, however it also usually requires him or me to use a hand on my clit or in my pussy to cum! So i partially agree, if you consider sex purely pleasure-oriented, but in the natural "normal" purpose for bumping uglies, it really isn't in my opinion.

    • Great post! This is the only thing I would disagree with: "I wouldn't exactly call it a normal" Most studies say -- 40% of girls aged 18-29 have done anal. That is BILLIONS of loads being shot up BILLIONS of female butt holes. It may happen more than you think, and for good reason.

  • When it comes to anal on females you can’t switch in between anal and vaginal because that leads to UTI infections. So clearly those are not supposed to mix. And the fact that there is no lubricant in the butthole for dick means ITS NOT MEANT TO BE THERE. And lastly, it’s where the shit comes out...     • Considering that women have a clit specifically made for sexual pleasure to induce lubrication and preparing the vagina for sexual intercourse so that a penis can actually enter, they have a perfectly normal and natural reason to have someone go down on them or touch it... The anus doesn't have the same effect, at least not on most people. Look Im not saying anal is wrong, its just not necessarily normal, neither is swallowing cum or fucking someones throat (which can make some throw up cause gag reflexes, again something that isn't supposed to be there) but many people do that anyway. I've done all three but I don't consider them necessarily normal. Its not something that everyone does anyway when it comes to sex. And porn is certainly suggesting to go in between pussy and anal without washing in between, leading my ex to believe you could and I was obviously at bad receiving end of that act with consequences...   • I mean... yeah, I suppose in the grand scheme of things it is "normal" in the sense that people do it but it isn't normal in the sense that it's natural, which is where I think people get confused. It serves no purpose biologically because you can't get pregnant and goes against that body part's natural function. But, just because something is natural doesn't mean it's wrong or bad - GMOs aren't natural but they serve a great purpose for society.

    All that is to say: if you wanna have butt sex, have butt sex. If you don't, then don't lol.

  • It is very normal for men to preform anal on other men. The prostate is a highly pleasurable part of the male body. The female clitoris is in the front, not the back. It is more pleasurable for a female to be stimulated in the front where as males can have multiple long lasting orgasms from anal. If a male tries to convince a female to do anal then I believe he himself should be pegged before he ever tries to go in the back when with a woman. You talked a lot which means you are trying extra hard to try to make people believe in your opinion, yet it doesn't seem like you have taken in in the back.   • You are forgetting that bacteria live in peoples rectums, and unless you clean yourself thoroughly straight after anal sex, you risk getting an infection, which you can pass on to the woman during vaginal sex.

    • Actually, many things are, from the finger of a gynecologist during a routine exam, suppository if it's called for, the nozzle of an enema if one is required medically or desired for other reasons, a colonoscopy tube when you reach a certain age, and even toilet paper a little bit as well as water in the shower assuming you're a relatively clean person ( hygienically speaking)! Besides, if you want to talk about normal/natural things, most of what we do don't qualify as either of these. How is holding hands normal or natural?
