Largely because they are selfish and inconsiderate, but also because for most men, right after you orgasm, you get incredibly sleepy. This is why foreplay is so important - the guy needs to satisfy the girl before he even starts intercourse. Maybe she'll cum once or twice more during intercourse because she's already "in the zone" from the foreplay, but even if she doesn't, she'll at least have had one or two before intercourse, and won't mind him stopping after he cums.

If the guy won't make that kind of effort, then they don't deserve sex at all.
