I sorta agree with it. Personally I don't think that using hormonal injections of any kind long-term has no negative side-effects. So that leaves essentially 3 options of contraception: Blocking the sperm from entering (condoms, diaphragm, etc.), copper based IUDs or manual methods such as calendar and pullout. Or anal only.
The first group is a bother + using a condom just doesn't feel good. IUDs are often only given after a womans first pregnancy. So that only left calendar and pullout.
Actually pullout isn't as efficient. Statistically it's as good as using a condom when done right. The problem is many people don't do it right, because you can't just pull out when you are about to explode, but have to do it before. So that requires some level of self-control. Which is rather difficult. Had that issue with my ex, because she instinctively wrapped herself around me really hard during her ovulation time when I was getting close. So literally had to push her off. lol

I believe that it is ridiculous how much of the protection from STDs and pregnancy actions are shouldered by women. Most women I know carry condoms with them since they really don't expect a guy to think ahead sufficiently to plan for the need despite the fact that most giy's have this as their ultimate goal. It's bad enough that there are so many women who are single parents because despite all his protestations and arguments for having unprotected sex because it feels better and then not at least carry whatever men's birth control options there are available. If I were a woman I'd give a guy one chance to provide a condom, after that it would be "no condom, no nookie"
