  • Hell no!! It's a natural instinct that will naturally come along. Plus there are tons of outlets to figure this out on their own. There's nothing to gain from this experience that one can't gain on their own and, if anything, this could have a negative effect on kids than a positive one.

  • What the?

  • Disgusting---that's a prepubescent child. The words "Age Appropriate"--learn them!

  • Thats disgusting and crossing a line. when the time comes we will speak on sex but im not gonna give my kids pointers on how to get off.

    • First it was the normalization of homosexuality, now its corrupting the innocence of children with filth. Whats next.. beastiualty and that people should consider normal?

    • Homosexuality IS normal, asshole. THIS is not.

    • @askmepleaseme Fine is normal but not natural.. happy?

  • I'm pretty sure that, if I ever have kids, they'll figure out how to masturbate on their own. I did!

  • Nah, they'll figure it out for themselves.

    • Right?

  • If I catch one in the act, I'd give them advice about it. As well as warning them of what it can do to their thought process. Nothing sex-related is without risk. And if they are going to venture in that direction, they should know the risks. If they want to avoid, and want to stop, they should know it'll be an uphill battle; but I'd support their efforts to gain a stronger sense of self-control.

  • I don't want kids. I think they'll figure it out for themselves by watching porn on the internet these days sooner or later either way or from their peers. Either way you can't stop them forever from being curious and searching for sex and porn on the internet and sooner or later they'll figure it out for themselves. Even with all the internet filtering software, they'll eventually find a way to bypass it somehow from their peers and see it for themselves.

  • No. That's fucking rapey.

  • I wouldn't teach mine. But that video is great. Its nice to see parents normalizing this stuff.

  • No, but I think it's important to throw some lotion in their bathroom or something. You don't want your kid using toothpaste or something fucked like that on his cock because he doesn't know any better or is too shy to ask about it.

    • maybe if you wouldn't cut their foreskin off they wouldn't need lotion

  • I would not... ask them if they do.

Nor would I tell them about me doing so... initially as that is just TOO awkward for both of use.

I would HOPE I am close enough/open enough with my kid/s ( don't have any)... that they would feel comfortable talking to me about it/sex.

WAY TOO MANY parents ACT like Prudes or even Virgins when most have done FILTHIER THINGS. DP/3 somes/ one night stands... etc.

    • Actually the question was if I 'WOULD" TEACH THEM... no BUT I would talk to them similarly like the parents in this video.

  • I have done this with them. It is nothing to be ashamed about.

  • Fuck no, that's so degenerate.

    • degenerate is the new progressive.

  • Kids NEED to know a few things crucial to them and the safety of others.
    - what masturbating is
    - not to do it in public or when others are in the house
    - not to show themselves off if anyone asks them to (like an adult)
    - not to try certain things (to prevent infections and pain).

These things can be taught through books or articles you give your child instead of personally, if it's easier. Anything past that, like "techniques" or "what feels good" they can figure out on their own.

  • My mom did. Not show me but she bought me a dildo. It's not that weird just something everyone does

  • Hello no! Let em' pick it up on the streets.

  • I feel like I was more comfortable myself because my parents taught me about it and told me it was normal, but some people I know who got less of a talk felt like they were fucking weird for doing it and some of them still do. It's a natural thing, and they should know it's not just them doing it. Now would I go in depth and show them the motions (through pantomime, not actually naked just to clarify)? Probably not. I'll explain what they do, and if they get confused they'll probably find out from friends or the internet, both of which are very common ways to learn such things and so I think it'll be fine.

  • the video was disgusting and really figuring it out on my own wasn't exactly hard

  • I'd rather not, seems to weird.
