Guys: Why are big boobs "hotter"?

It seems that girls who're slim and busty are hotter than us who are slim and well, small chested. I have wide hips. I'd be a perfect hourglass if I had big boobs, but I don't have them. I rarely get told I'm hot, and I don't dress nor do I act like a nun. Nor like a slut. I get told I'm a really nice, fun and smart girl. Yet girls with big boobs (who are slim) get told they're hot all the time. You see the same thing happening with actresses. Sofia Vergara, for instance, is always the "hot" one, all guys think she's hot and desirable and sexy and they drool and whatever. Yet, say, Kate Hudson doesn't incite the same feelings in guys. I want to be hot, but it seems I can't unless I magically grow big boobs (because implants are a turn off apparently). Oh and about penis size, it's not the same because you don't see huge penises on TV like you see breasts, and also, only the first 2 or 3 inches of the vagina are sensitive anyway. I always get told that its' the same as penis size, and it is not! Maybe if you had your d*** on display all the time it would be the same, but it's not. So that's not a valid argument. Plus technique IS more important, and I have never given much importance to size anyway. About height, most girls are shorter than the majority of guys (there will always be a shorter girl than you), about hair bald guys can be hot (see Bruce Willis, Taye Diggs, Donald Faison and many others). And about muscles, you can grow them naturally. You can't grow boobs.

To the girls who say it doesn't matter, well just look at what the media portrays as hot, and you'll notice women tend to have big boobs. Like I said Sofia Vergara, Salma Hayek, Katy Perry, they're all considered SEX symbols, whereas...

... women like Kate Hudson or Keira Knightley ARE considered beautiful and elegant, but not HOT or sex symbols. Plus just look at Playboy or Maxim, they all have chesty, slim women. And they represent men's ideals, otherwise they wouldn't sell.

I have dated and found skinny girls pretty before but I actually find a curvier look with bigger hips and even a little bit of a stomach attractive. Big boobs are partly appealing because they are noticable and to men at least they are sexual. Men like boobs period big boobs draw your attention to the boobs. They are fun to touch and feel. A lot of women would think that beneath them. Heighth is a big deal to a lot of women, why not date a guy shorter than you? I'm not that short but I am below average height. Being a guy who is tall you can get some immediate attention that shorter guys don't get. Being short kinda like not having the big boobs. At the end of the day confidence is important. There are shallow women, nodoby denies that, but in my experience, the women I know at least put way more importance on personality and how a guy treats them (this mostly) than on looks. That's why a lot of us can seem like stuck up princesses most of the time, 'cause we place far too much importance on HOW we're treated, which is important but not the most important IMO. I just hate being with a guy who thinks I'm not hot or anything, I like sex and part of it is knowing he thinks I'm hot.
In my experience though treating a girl nice usually kills her attraction to you. Its too bad because nice is actually the way I would like. There's this whole feminist movement but until women come to grips with the fact they encourage men to act like assholes and treat them with disrespect things won't change

The bigger the better is not really true. Look at extremely large breasts. They are not very attractive. I've liked smaller breast no larger than 38 a or b the largest. Women with smaller breasts have advantages over women with larger breasts because they don't have back, fitting size or sleeping problems that large breasted women experience.
You ask this question then tell each guy that says they prefer smaller boobs they are lying...everyone has a different preference for body type, not all guys are programed to like boobs, some are crazy about butts and could care less about boobs. It's just so hard to accept myself when society and the media push this notion that "curves = HOT" and that "lack of curves = anorexic or man like". I'm not even skinny skinny, just normal weight! I don't feel represented at all. It's like you either are an hourglass like Sofia Vergara or stick thin like Keira Knightley. I look like neither of them. Self acceptance is really hard when society dictates that your body type is NOT hot or femenine enough =( Sorry, I'm just very frustrated.
I think you need to cry or let out your stress somehow. Guys only look at me with their eyes, not their hearts. Some guys look at me with their hearts, but it's kinda rare. But don't hate yourself, or your body. It's not worth getting depressed about.

That being said I personally have always enjoyed wide hips and a nice backside more then big breasts. So actually your description of yourself sounds pretty close to my Ideal. Not to be crude but you may not be aware of how much attention you are receiving when your back is turned. Personally, boobs are all about shape. I don't own a subscription to Playboy or any of those p*rn magazines, but from what I've seen, there are girls in the p*rn industry with smaller breasts. I'm not going to go into detail about what I prefer in a girl, but think about it... why are you really judging your body based on Playboy models? I'll go home and do pull ups/push ups before I take my shower almost every day. However, with my metabolism and frame, I'm still only 140 pounds and 5'8" tall! What I would give for another 10 pounds and another 4 inches! So actually, it's not all about growing muslces. Even though I'm strong, I will never look buff because of my frame and metabolism.
P.S. Did you say you have wide hips? That probably means you have a butt that many girls would be jealous of (And that many guys would pine after). Be confident with what you have!
