Should I circumcise my son or not?

He'll be born soon... My husband wants him circumcised just like himself. I think it's awfully wrong to want to cut a baby, because you are cut. I figured, it would be best to let him decide later on in life if he wants to go through the procedure.

31 63Well I personally don't believe it's right to circumcise children, it's inhumane and the child doesn't have a choice.
Don't listen to your husband. Your son should make that choice if he feels the need to when he is older. It's wrong to mutate your baby simply for a tradition.
Circumcision is always better in every aspect. doing it after grown up is difficult, till when he decide its too late.
U should talk to a doctor.. I am circumcised and i and i am happy with that.. Its for healty life.. I would wanna circumcise my son if i had one.. I was 10 years old when i circumcised and i didn't feel any pain.. But ofcourse its your choise...

Don't do it. There are no benefits and don't believe the people that tell you there are. Places just say there are benefits because it makes the hospitals money. Simply put, it would be like you having your clitoris cut off. Tons of pleasure is gone and most guys who are circumcised don't realize that so they don't know what they are missing.

It's up to you if you do circumcise your son he won't even remember it when he grows up plus it has it's benefits with regards to hygiene, guys who are not circumcised get infections easier than guys who are circrcumcised because of the amount of skin, do what you think is best for your child and what your heart tells you, do not take on opinions here that are only given based on their own standards, you are the mother it's between you and your husbad at the end of the day choose wisely.

It is unnecessary. All the religious, medical reasons are not my believes. My son is not. He is at an age that he is questioning about the diff. between him, other boys and his father. I just expl. to him the truth, my reason that i don't believe in circumsistion. and thats okay to be diff.
And that comes to anything else that you will have to teach your child/children about in the future.

There are not many medical advantages to circumcision. Its mainly done for tradition now. Most doctors where I live (Australia) actually won't do it anymore unless it is for religious reasons.

Never do this. Luckily you asked this question. This is just very bad for your son. Circumsion is no necessery for anything. İts just bad. Men who circumcised cum so early. A normal guy cum 5-7 minutes around , but I circumcised guy cum 2-3 minutes in the first time. Sexual desire will be less than un circumcised. Risk of getting sexual illnesses will rise. I live in Turkey. Even some muslim doctors don't suggest this. This is only about religious tradition. İn some country even people do circumcion to women. Circumcion is a child abuse. And its also a crime. This is totally against human rights.

If suggest looking into the hpv shot when he gets older if he's not circumcised, as it carries a higher risk of passing along a cancer causing virus to his partner.
Circumcision is falling out of favor, but condom use should become more stringent if this happens, as uncircumcised men are more likely to contract stds.
