You should NEVER lie to your doctor. Ever. If you don't feel comfortable being fully honest with them, you need to find a new doctor who you DO feel comfortable with.

They can't do their job properly if you don't give them the information that they need in order to make the best decisions they can about your health.

Besides, anything you've done, they've heard worse. They're not gonna judge you (and if your doctor does judge you, again, find a new one, because not judging you is part of their job).

I've got too many health problems to lie to a doctor. I've asked that my parents leave the room, I've written answers and questions when they've refused to (when I was younger and couldn't kick them out), but I'm always honest.

I never had that question as a teen, at least not while I was sexually active, thankfully. I don't know how I would have answered if I was. From what I have learned in life since then though, it is much better to tell the truth. There are so many things that can and should be done, or avoided, if you are sexually active. More so for the woman than a male but guys have things that need to be checked too.
