"Do women actually want to go out topless (bare-chested) in public?

I doubt if many women would want to go topless in public. I think it is more the idea that they shouldn't be banned from doing so if they wish.

But it's not so much a desire to go topless. It may be a desire to destigmatize the sight up nipple bumps beneath a shirt. Simply not wearing a bra beneath clothing can result in prudish judgment or creepy sexualization. Some women wish they didn't have to wear bras if the only purpose is to avoid unwanted attention. From what I understand, bras can be uncomfortable. And they are often unnecessary.

And instead of going topless, which could be perceived as raunchy, coarse, or promiscuous, there are fashionable clothes that might be see-through or show sides or undersides of breasts. Those clothes, although they may be attractive, would be viewed the same as being topless.

I think women should be able to wear what they want. It is already acceptable for them to show their bare legs, asses, midriffs, and everything but their coochies. Okay, some of those fashion choices can be tasteless, but some of them are super cute. So I think it's time to lighten up on boobs, too.

Free the nipple. Throw your shoulders back and be proud of your breasts.

The reality of free the nipple is not to be allowed to walk barebreast. That right exists in many places and women do not choose to do so.

The reality of it is that they want to de-sexualize the woman's breast and nipple. Make it normal to a point where no one cares or reacts. I get that. I am sure if I were a woman I'd want that too at times.

The flipside is, it is also women who do not want this. Because while not having sexual appeal is nice at times, at others times you do want it.

And that perfect type world where your partner thinks it is hot and special when you two are alone and no one else so much as bothers to look, except maybe a few really hot people you like, is just never going to happen. It is too much of a mental loop to induce worldwide.

So really its more of a: Girls would you like your breasts to be sexually attractive to people and your potential partners or not interesting at all to anyone question.

I am all for the right. Even though it won't normally be exercised. But this has always been a rather odd cause.

I've done it before, both casually and fit events. I live near New York City. It's perfectly legal here. I do it more to occasionally exercise my right to do so and push my boundaries a bit.

Here's my reasoning:
I believe that women should have the right to have the choice to be bare breasted, without prosecution or harassment, wherever and whenever it is appropriate for a man. In NYC, and other places, there is the GoToplessDay March towards the end of August both celebrating our right where it's legal and protesting where it's not. I go to these marches every year and have been since I was 18.
Casually I'll go with an open top every now and then when I feel comfortable. Usually a stroll through Central Park, down Time Square, along Broadway, the Skyway, etc.

You'll ultimately find that most women will never want to. Some will for certain events. Reasonings will vary person to person.

I'm sure some do, but not I. I think girls with good boobs, and not all saggy, would be more likely to do so.  Would love to free my nipples - and everything else too!

It should be up to women to decide whether they want to go topless. Fortunately, in Europe it is usually no longer forbidden on the beaches. I almost never wear a top on the beach and I find it very comfortable.

If I was in a female-only area, yes that might be nice to experience that sort of freedom without being instantly sexualised or gawked at. But I would never want to go topless in a general area where males may be.

Its because they dont have anything better to do, infact around UK you can be topless in parks or beaches as a woman. Just make sure no sexual act is being done

I have done it in appropriate settings. I think the thing of it is that we (women in general) just want to have equal rights as men, whether we use them or not.

Their argument for wearing crop tops and booty shorts is "it's just a stomach", "it's just a buttcheek". Well, it's just breasts and vaginas. So go ahead and display those too. But they wouldn't would they.

I know some that do. The problem is even if it's legal, there's still the social stigma, the worries about jeopardizing career, etc will still keep most from going topless anyways.

Nope, I really don't care if I go topless or not. I'm not even sure I want to see boobs in my face either. I have gone topless at a beach once before though.

No. My other physical assets outperform my two small cup B pimples, my desire to show my breasts in the public is very limited. Other assets look in tight clothes anyway better than without. lol
