Sexual Health My boyfriend has been quiet and hasn't wanted to have sex much lately but always wants to cuddle. Why might this be?

My boyfriend and I have been together for almost three years, live together, and our relationship has been very loving/close; he's 26 and I'm 24. Over the past month, we've only had sex about once a week. We used to have sex most days of the week and sometimes twice a day. All month he's been quiet and isolates himself but has been more affectionate with me. . He usually has dinner ready when i get home; he loves to cook so I clean/do the dishes afterwards. The past couple of weeks he's asked me to come cuddle with him instead of doing the dishes. We go into the bedroom, he tells me to hold my arms up, takes all of my clothes off except my underwear, he picks me up, and asks if I will lay on his chest. He always kisses my forehead, rubs my back, holds me, and he likes to take baths together but he rarely wants to do anything more. I started to get worried he was involved with someone else; I went through his phone, found nothing, and he has never been protective of his phone. I've asked him if something is wrong and he usually shakes his head. He's always been quiet but never this extent; I can't think of anything that recently happened. His dad died during the month of may ten years ago but he's never acted this way on previous years. I've been trying to be caring, loving, give him space but I really miss having sex. Why might he be acting like this?
