I feel like once I tell a guy I'm a virgin, they're more into me than when they just assume I'm not and I don't know why. I told my friend that I'm a virgin because he was talking about wanting to hook up sometime so I just let him know because why wouldn't you let someone know that? And he was saying how it's so attractive that I'm a virgin and how "innocence is sexy" and I just don't get it. Am I missing something here? I don't care if someone's a virgin or not, I'm still gonna look at them the same. Imagine if I looked at someone who wasn't a virgin and tried to fetishize that like "oh wow that's so hot, you have all this experience and I have none, you could teach me some things" like that sounds insane the other way around but I guess when it comes to virginity it's normalized

It is not politically correct to say so, but innocence is a feminine trait and worldliness is a masculine one. Many people will be offended by that, but the fact is it is just human nature. Always has been and always will be.
If you think that sounds insane "the other way around", you're correct. Men and women are different. I don't know why some people are still trying to ignore that fact and figure out why something that applies to one gender doesn't also apply to the other. Is that fair? Nope. If that bothers you then take it up with Mother Nature, since she is the one who made up the rules a very long time ago.
