Do you personally NEED lube when it comes to sex/masturbation?

It shocks me to read on here how many people use lube because I dont know many in person who do lol. My exes and i never needed it for sex nor when i masturbated em. My old friends never mentioned needing to use it with their guys. Is lube just used when the girl isn't wet enough? Or is it for when you’ve gone too many rounds and start to dry out? Or is it just for when you use condoms? Even when my first ex and i used condoms the few times we did, we still never needed lube. I hope we never have to because i’d prob turn up allergic to it or sumn.

When i asked about lube, i meant if girls use it on their guys, not themselves. Also, im glad my exes precame a lot and i was always wet so lube wasn't needed. Im not into anal so that didn't even cross my mind when asking this question. I was referring to vaginal sex only. I hate when girls/guys spit on a dick.   • When we were younger, I don't remember using any lube during sex.

    Most of the time when masturbating, I'd just rub and rub, but it did hurt after awhile. Some times all I had was some Vaseline jell and I rub it on my hands and penis to make it slide easier, it did feel better.

    Later I found I could pump faster with more sensitivity with lotion or liquid lube.

    My penis feels more sensitive dry, but I can pump faster and easier with a lube and can get my rocks off faster.

    Some lubes are different though, some are liquid and others are jell some more sensitive than others, some dry faster and have to be reapplied more often, while some stay more silky feeling with less frequent applications. I love the more silky feeling while masturbating.

  • Lube is used generally when using toys or going anal.
    For gay sex, lube is kinda essential. For lesbian, sometimes.
    For anal, i highly suggest you use it.
    Another factor to consider is age. The older women get, the less we produce our natural wetness. So erderly couple use lube.
