Top Freedom has actually been done successfully in many communities …like New York City for example, it is legal for a girl to be topless anywhere a guy is allowed to be bare chested, so it is not unusual to see topless girls in Times Square or Central Park on really warm days.
My last trip to New York City was 2½ years ago in September and it was still warm then. I went to both Times Square and Central Park …one must take advantage of those warm days when you're in New York …lol
Yes, it’s the exception and not the rule because of the success of ‘Slut Shaming’ by some, but why should a girl be put in jail for it, in some western localities, when everyone in western countries have seen a girl’s breasts before and there is nothing wrong with them…am I wrong?
One of the excuses given to not allow it, is that it turns guys on sexually, but wouldn’t that stop if it were more commonplace like it has been for centuries in many parts of the world with natives and with others where none of this has even been an issue? Should they be arrested too?

By top-free, you mean totally top-free, and not some bullshit requirements to cover her nipples with band-aids or sticky tapes? I mean, HOLY SHIT, bare nipples, well that will just certainly crash the stock market and ruin the nation, right?
That nonsense about being topless, and exciting men, so women must stay covered, is that part of Islam (no slander or judgement or offense intended!!!) because in the US there is this idea of equality.
If a man can be top-free, any woman, as an EQUAL, should have that OPTION, SHOULD SHE CHOOSE THAT!! Not every woman will, but they should have that right, and be able to exercise it, and not be inhibited, or judged.

I said B because I feel the female breast has become somewhat sexualised evolutionary/biologically it is a feeding device for your offspring but somewhere along the line it has become a thing of wonder/taboo - It is a shame that such wonderful things like the human body can be seen as dirty - Let women sunbathe topless in the park or people go to nudist beaches/colonies - Far from corrupting the young it will demystify the human body, they will learn how to appreciate beauty naturally not ascribe pornographic thoughts to it

I was just about to go into the philosophy behind chosing A when I realized most guys here had the same explanation.
That's odd how something that is almost universally approved is still frowned upon so much.
I mean we live an age where we're not under the control of religion or superstitions, where just about everything is socially acceptable. And yet this minor detail is still the source of such contrevercy.
It's all because of the sex market as breasts are still sold as sexual objects and would lose all street value if they were made available for free so to speak.
I'm all for legalizing public nudity and especially toplessness.

Just take off your top if you want, idc. Lots of women do so here. The issue is when people start bothering you/looking at you/whistling etc. That’s a problem that should be resolved, and it’s a major issue too.

Mens arguments are oh but womens breasts are sexually arousing. That would mean all parts of you that were sexual arousing would have to be covered too. If men can be shirtless women can too. If I don't want to wear a bra I don't have to. Womens breasts are meant to nurture potential lives we might birth. Yes they can be sexually arousing but so can a shirtless man.
Seems like a bad idea. Imagine going to a beach with your wife/gf and she is topless. Now imagine that people are flat out starring and whistling at her. You can visibly see other men getting aroused. Yes, this might happen even with a bikini, but even Cosmo recognizes that the more skin a person reveals, the more others think about that person totally nude and activities that nude people do together.

Kinda C kinda F, should it be illegal? Not sure, but i don't think it should become a social norm or socially acceptable. The barrier is actually very well defined and has nothing to do with chests, it has to do with the gender exclusive bits, aka the penis on the man and the breasts and vagina on the woman.
The reason is mostly out of modesty so we can have an orderly society without sexualization constantly on our minds. Should it be allowed on beaches and the likes where women already regularly go topless? Sure. But i don't think its a good idea to make it acceptable in things like shopping malls or workplaces. Not everyone wants to be confronted with it and more importantly have their kids confronted with it.
Personally if your gonna show your breasts exposed i am fine with it, but will stare at them. Because if you take the liberty to show them in public i am gonna take the liberty to look as much as i want. After all if your not being modest, why should i?

@ThinkerShell Free the nipples doesn't mean that girls should go out showing their nipples. I take it in restricted meanings. If you are at home, in company of husband/bf, any female member of family or female friends, you can stay without bra. Outside, if society has earmarked specific place to go topless, there one can roam freely.
U see I'm a guy so have no great idea of how this bra issue is important or not. People should be free to wear as much or as little as they please. Here in Seattle they can and it's no problem because few people choose to go naked (mostly it's too cold). The objections to public nudity are rather silly. Mostly it's "think of the children" as if children are somehow harmed by seeing the human body.

Um the city has crime issues , yes better then years ago. The last stats i seen was somewhere around 12 women get sexually assulted in the times square area in any given hour. Thats what i remember seeing just within the past year and i do not remember where i seen these stats But 12 sexual assults an hour. This includes inappropriate touching, grabbing etc. also included rapes i think. Times square a woman could be getting raped and people would just walk by like they dont see it. turn a blind eye. But yea let them free. I love boobies. If i had a rack id never leave the house.
Men have nipples to keep the world equal. If we can have ours out why not. But people need to come to realization that its not for pleasure its for comfort for people its not like women wanna see our nipples and out of shape bodies all day at the beach damn right they probably dont but men are horn dogs and its sad to say but women should feel comfortable being able to do the same as a man with out an issue.
I support it. I think women should have the freedom to be topless wherever men are topless. But then I participate in nude recreation in the summers at an AANR club so I'm very comfortable with the human body. But I also realize that for cultural reasons probably only a small number of women would feel comfortable going topless.
I support it , I would just have more boners through out the day lol
