What do you currently use and what have you used in the past?
I currently use the pill (combined ) and I've had the implant before but it started to cause some issues. I've also used a menstrual tracking method.
What birth control method do you use?

I'm trying to get pregnant so currently none. Usually just use pullout and NFP
I use the pill and with partners who I’m unaware of their STD status, I also use condoms
I don’t use any 😯
Vasectomi
I mean, I'm a virgin but this is what I plan to do when I get into a decent relationship (lol):
Sooooo, my periods are pretty regular and I track them every month. Therefore I usually know where about I am in my cycle - I'll be using this to my advantage and avoiding sex on days where I am ovulating and likely to get pregnant :) (In addition to pull out method).
I've heard it works and I am not a fan of the implications of contraception.
@alyssa11 According to the below article, here are the first-year “typical use” unintended PREGNANCY RATES of the various birth control methods...

@Gagname That's a high rate... but the way I see it is I don't want to use birth control as I've used it before to regulate my periods and it was hell. I was moody and agitated all the time and I gaining a lot of weight. When I do have sex it'll be with someone I'm committed to and if we get pregnant then we get pregnant I guess!
Ok, I understand. I just wanted you to be aware of the rates fir the different bc. Maybe considering using the Male condom to combination with Fertility awareness & the Withdrawal (Pulling Out) method would be a good birth control plan for you—especially in the initial stage of your future relationships. Be safe and wishing you the best!

@Gagname Thanks! Appreciate it :)
None. The plan is for a large family.
I was on the pill for a while but it made the lump in my boob hurt so I stopped taking them. We usually use condoms or just the pull and pray lmfao
@lyndsielee666 Pull and pray. Lol
Facials.
Menopause
None.
My wife and I have a child.
Once we are done... I will get a vasectomy.
All natural, no drugs, hormones and docs always getting in our junk.
Get our kids out of the way... have vasectomy.
All natural sex.
buttsex
Tubal ligation
I'm always on birth control pill because it makes my periods bearable.
My ex was very very scared of getting me pregnant so he insisted on using condoms as well.
If I'm in a relationship I think just on using bc pill is fine.
I'm not really into sleeping around but if it ever happends I do want to use a condom because it protects from STDs.
primary condoms for my side. however past girlfriend's have used a variety of methods of birth control. scientists are working on more male options to help even out the reasonability more. but condoms stop other nasty things like STD's when you don't fully trust your partner. or you just want an extra layer of protection. incase they forget to use theirs or their options fails that one time.
since many female birth control options can be negated. by alcohol and/or antibiotics like a Z-pack and so forth.
in this point in my life I'm not sexually active but when I used to have sex the woman was on the pill.
Now, let's get to the real question... Implant? In your arm? Tell me about this thing
Its a slow release progesterone. Mine was two rods, you get a small incision in the inside of your arm and they are put in under the skin. Lasts for about 5 years.
That must have felt terrible.. I'm sorry about penises 🙆♀️☹️
Can't feel it, the worse part was the side effects I got and the getting it out (took about half an hour for her to dig it out of my arm)
@offendedsorbet mine moved and the doctor had dig it out 😥.
I used the pill in the past with condoms, and now I don’t need either. Partial hysterectomy
I used condoms until I was sterilized last year. Though I guess I still would use a condom if I were to have sex, for cleanliness and STD prevention
I got a Nexplanon (implant) a year ago. It works for me.
I got a vasectomy 5 years ago. Best $40 ever spent (insurance co pay).
Could you tell more about it?
@Syrian_survivor what specific questions do you have? May be better to post this as a new topic altogether for yourself.
I'm just curious to know more from someone who had actually done it, everything online is confusing xD Can you still have sex? Is your libido affected? Does it have any negative medical effects?
@Syrian_survivor You have to wait about a week to have sex. Afterwards sex is completely normal feels exactly the same. Sperm looks the same. The scar is microscopic, no woman will ever know. No libido affects. I haven't had any medical problems. The place where guys get in trouble is you still need to wear condoms for up to three months after in case some swimmers were in front of the cut. So keep bagging it until you go back post operation and verify there is no sperm.
Oh wow, this is very informative and helpful haha Do you have frozen sperm from before the operation? In case you ever wanna have a family?
@Syrian_survivor yep froze it in case. $500 for initial freeze and $200 a year after.
